"We've got you cornered. Cease resisting and surrender yourself to the Shogunate!"

Well, this is a sticky situation. Behind him are soldiers armed with spears and swords, in front lays the vast, glittering ocean, and even further lays the raging storm that seals off his nation. From what the soldiers can see, he's trapped and the only option is surrender. But Kazuha? He simply laughs.

"Are you sure you can't make an exception, just for me?" he says.

"Never! The Almighty Shogun makes no exceptions for anyone. You're cornered now, just come with us and the Shogun will decide your fate."

Kazuha sighs. "Ah, what a shame..." 8he carefully unsheathes his blade. The Shogunate officers tighten the grip on their own weapons as Kazuha examines his sword, before they charge at him.

All hints of playfulness disappear from his face as they draw closer.

'Just a little closer...'

'Now.'

"Into the wind!"

Right as they were about to strike, he leaps up into the air, a gust of wind boosting his height and gathering his opponents below him.

As he lay in the air, he closed his eyes. The oh-so-familiar feeling of weightlessness coursed through him. He loves this feeling, the feeling of floating without a care in the world. But it was over all too quickly.

He plunged down upon the nearly defeated opponents, not giving them a chance to even think about retreating. Kazuha sheathes his weapon as the officers turn to dust.

"I won't... forget this..." were their final words.

Kazuha glances at the darkening sky. He knows there isn't much time before more soldiers come to ambush him. Luckily he had prepared a small boat for his getaway.

As he pushes the boat through the sand he thinks, 'Do I really need to do this?'

But memories of his dear friend and that deadly slash decided to make themselves known. He winced slightly. For the sake of Inazuma, he had to.

"Besides, there's no time like the present."
