I still stood there as Luke awaited for my presence in the cafe, some how I couldn't take my eyes off of Tarin who was sipping her coffee awkwardly. Calum just sent a short smile, and a small wave, then turning back to Tarin. I could actually say, I might be getting a bit jealous, I don't know why thought. Just a couple of days ago, he annoyed me, and I found him disgusting yet charming. I just smile back to the boy who wasn't even looking at me, then enter the cafe.
"There you are, thought you ditched me." Luke chuckles sitting at a high table by the window on the right. I should just act normal, I don't want to bring Luke down, just because I'm down. I take a deep breathe in and out, and throw on the most fake smile I could.
"Nope, just had to discuss, work with Calum." I lied taking my seat in front of him. he just looks at me confused and takes a sip of his coffee. "What, you didn't get me one?" I slightly laugh. He pauses, and looks up from his cup, slowly licking the excess coffee off of his lips.
"Was I suppose to?" I just laugh at him as I got off of my seat and headed towards the long line, considering it was lunch time, the place was about packed. As I stand, waiting for the line to shorten, I feel a slight touch on a hand on my shoulder. I quickly turn, to make eye contact with Calum.
As I face him, his hand still stayed on my shoulder. I look down at his hand, signaling him that it was still there. He looks at what I was staring at, and awkwardly moves his hand off of my shoulder. I loosen up, and look back into his eyes.
"Hey, can we talk?" He asks, this time, I could see some sort of emotion in his eyes, not just a blank expression of 'shit, what do I do?' I look back at Luke who is scrolling through his phone, and sipping his coffee.
"Excuse me miss, can you move up? You're next." A lady behind us asks, I look back and notice the impatient looking cashier. I look back at Calum, who rises his eyebrows, waiting for me to come with him. "Miss."
"Ok I know!" I slightly yell. "Fine, but make it quick." I lower my voice, speaking to Calum as he grabs my wrist and pulls be towards the door.
Once we reached outside, Tarin was no where to be seen, she must have went home. "Where's Tarin?"
"One of her ex's or whatever came over, and basically lifted her off of her feet." I wasn't surprised, sometimes most of her ex's came back to her, but sometimes she wouldn't take them back, I have no idea what goes on in her head. "Anyways, back to us." He begins. "Listen, I have no idea what is going on with all of this tension between us, but I'd like it to stop."
"How do you expect it to stop?" I ask. He lightly brushes his nose with the tip of his thumb thinking.
"I want a make up." He says. I turn my head in confusion, not knowing what the hell he was talking about. "I mean, I want a make up date. How about tomorrow? My day off." He continues.
"Calum, I don't know, I have-" I try saying before I was cut off when he lightly grasps my hand with his. I look down, and can swear my face was pink.
"Please, Brynn. I've waited for this, I want to make it up. This time, just me and you." Still looking at his hand, I finally give in.
"Ok. Fine. We'll have a make up date." I look up and smile, I was actually happy he asked for this.
"Great, one more question." I nod my head a bit signaling for him to continue, "Why was there so much tension between us?" He asks with a slight chuckle. I just shrug my shoulders.
"I don't know, I guess it felt weird." I say with my hand still in his, "you always flirted with me, and I always denied it, and I guess seeing you and Tarin do the same kinda made me-" I hurried and cut myself off, as Calums sweet face turned into a devilish face.
"Made you, jealous?" He asks with a smirk.
"Of course not." I say ripping my hand out of his grip. "It just made me feel..." I had no idea how to respond. I look into the window, and notice Luke was still sitting there, waiting for me. "Oops, gotta go. I'll talk to you later." I say running back in the cafe. My heart was going 1,000 miles per second, I was basically thinking out loud to Calum, shit why'd I do that.

I had just gotten off of the phone with Tarin, and told her I asked Brynn back out, just like we had discussed. I check out myself in the mirror, and think about what I was going to do for the date, I haven't told her where we were going to go, maybe we could just head to the park. "I could bring my guitar, and woo her with my musical talents." I think to myself making guitar motions, nah that's too cheesy.
As I still stand there stuck in my thoughts, Luke walks into the room. Wasn't he suppose to be at work? He just ignore what I was doing and plops down onto the couch in our room, up against the window.
"Aren't you suppose to be working?" I ask sitting down on my bed facing him.
He peaks one eye open, and shuts it once again. "Brynn said she's closing up the store earlier than usual, I don't know why though." He replied, then turned on his side facing away from me.
I wonder why she would close the shop down so early...

"Tarin!" I say bursting into our bedroom door, startling her, causing her to drop her makeup palette. She looks at me and rolls her picking up the now broken palette. "We're going to the mall." I simply say. Her emotion goes from 0-100 really quick.
"That's like the first time you've volunteered to go! What's the special occasion?" She says raising one eyebrow, and poking my side with her elbow. I just roll my eyes, and brush her elbow off.
"I need a new outfit to wear tomorrow." I say searching my closet for my jacket. "And while we're there we could get yourself a new make up palette." I say causing her to giggle, and grab her purse.
Tarin and I spent almost all the day at the mall, it was finally 10 P.M. And instead of getting one outfit, Tarin insisted to buy me a whole new wardrobe, since her new boyfriend is basically her sugar daddy.
We head into my car, and as I start up the car I catch a glimpse of Tarin looking at me and smirking. I look over at her with a disgusted face, wondering what was going on in her head. "May I help you?" I laugh, turning down the radio that started to play.
"You want better clothes because of Calum." Her words cause me to quickly look away from her, so she wouldn't notice if I were blushing or not. "Admit it!" She squeals getting closer to me. I mean she wasn't wrong. Before I had to wear her clothes to go on that date, I had not 'dress to impress' type of clothing in my closet. If I wanted to start off fresh with Calum, why not look good while I'm at it. I just ignored her and started to drive off. I wonder what Calum has planned for tomorrow.

"Ashton stop messing around. Luke do something productive. Michael, stop flirting with Krista." I demand as I start grabbing my things, getting ready to leave for the date Calum and I were going on. "I'm leaving in 10 minutes, and I don't want to close down the shop, so..." I had no idea who to put in charge, so I chose the first person I laid my eyes on, "Luke, you're in charge, don't let me down." I say with my finger in his face. He slowly pushing my hand down, and laughs.
"Ready?" I hear a familiar voice by the door. I turn to see Calum leaning against the post of the door. I could feel the smile already reach the ends of my face. I quickly walk up to him, and nod. He leaves the door open, allowing me to exit the store first.
"So where we headed?" I ask him as we both get into his car.
"I have a schedule." He says buckling up. "Ok, first we are going to the Music Museum, then we'll head to the park for lunch, then we will head to the movie theatre, and pick something to watch. And at the end of the day, I'll take you home, and kis-" He tried saying, but quickly stopped himself, and continued to drive. I just laugh at him, causing his face to turn a bit pink. Calum had an open mind, and a big one too, this date is going to be tiring, but it's worth it.
