This story contains mentions of body hate, self consciousness, panic attacks, and tics

I hope I'm not being rude, I just feel like Denki would have slight tics due to his quirk so I'm adding them into my story.

enjoy.

Denki sat in his room, it was quiet. He was left with his thoughts and none of them were good.

He kept thinking of what happened the other night.

How he did remember that Izuku was going, but didn't leave with them. He hated that he didn't say anything. Why didn't he?

He was just caught up in everything. He should've said something, but he didn't and now Izuku is upset.

He felt useless. He didn't open his mouth and ask about Izuku, he just walked along with everyone else. Izuku should hate him, he has to. He ruined Izuku's plans.

He tried to keep his cool, he really shouldn't overthink it that much. He should just focus on something else. He tried, but he failed. He started to panic, thinking about what Izuku was feeling and how he couldn't fix it.

"He is mad at me, he has to. I hope he is okay!" He whispered. He rocked himself, side to side. "I'm worthless, I can't do anything right." He sobbed. Before he noticed it he was ticking.

He has tics, but small ones, usually tapping, or clicking his tongue, making small noises, but they were unnoticeable usually. However they were getting more aggressive.

He started clicking his fingers and making a motor noise with his mouth. His head started to jerk up, hurting him, this panicking him more.

He crawled onto his bed and grabbed a stuffed animal, cuddling it until he calmed down.

Unluckily for him it lasted for about an hour straight. When he stopped he was crying, full on sobbing into the stuffed animal's neck. Trying to catch his breath his panicking started to pick up again.

"What if someone saw?" He mumbled. All he was doing was adding more to his worries. He needed to calm himself. He couldn't spend another hour like this.

He brought the stuffed animal closer to his chest and bit it on its ear. His fingers tapped lightly on the stuffed animal's fur. His vision became darker as he drifted into sleep.

He cried all the energy out of him. He was all swaddled up, sleeping peacefully.

He still didn't stop thinking about Izuku. He felt horrible for leaving him when all he could have done was spoken up. He really just wanted to hug and cuddle into the greenette. He'd do anything for forgiveness even if the other didn't know he had part in it.

Soon Denki woke up. He was covered in sweat. Drenched.

He sat up and sighed and began to stand up. He was used to this odd way of waking up, usually because of a nightmare, but it was odd. He didn't remember his dream this time? He grabbed a new pair of clothes and made his way to his bathroom for a shower.

He glanced at the time, completely surprised that he slept the whole night. It was currently 7:30am, great timing, he sighed.

As he took off his clothing he looked at himself in the mirror. He silently stared at himself undressed. His heart clenched, tears slowly falling, he looked away. Folding his arms over his chest, he felt exposed. Even if he was the only one in the bathroom he didn't want anyone seeing him like this.

He let the tears escape as he looked in the other direction. In his opinion he looked terrible, awful, just pure hideous.

He was losing major weight. He didn't eat much, that was mostly due to his little knowledge on cooking. He just didn't know how to provide himself with full meals.

He mostly ate little snacks unless Bakugou was nice enough to share and cook the class dinner. Other than that he waited until school lunch was served.

He sighed softly and stepped into the shower letting the warm water pour down his body.

After his shower he walked downstairs into the common room and made some simple cereal. As he was eating he heard others start waking up and coming downstairs.

Everyone came down and began their own little activities. Denki was thankful that Nezu gave them a break, he was drained and not in the mood to go to class.

He sat at the table finishing off his cereal, watching everyone walk past. People depending on who they were, would greet him or just eye him and walk away. He just smiled and waved, he just wanted to have a simple morning.
