chapter 13: the confession and saving asgore.

Frisk POV.
Chara: "you come along way mirror and now you will be judged, from you decisions, from your choice and your...." she went silent. I look at her waiting for her to finish. Chara: "damn it. I had a speech to say before you got here now. I was practicing it too" I wonder what wrong. She like she going to run any moment now. Chara: "i may as well get it over with. So remember the promise I told you about? Well if I'm being honest I didn't trust you. My plan was to gain your trust and when you weren't looking I was going to kill you myself. But than that break down happen." I should have guess there was something strange with her talking to me. Look like she is going to confess everything. Chara: "after it. I try to go with my plan but you started trusting me much quickly than I thought. When you were asleep i had my chance. I did, i grab my knife that i carried around and put it to your throat." She did what? I knew she didn't trust me but she went far to try and kill me in my sleep? Was everything I feel about her a lie? Chara: "surprised? I know even I was too. There was my chance to kill you and I was about to do it until I saw something I never knew" wait does she mean that she already knew? Chara: "I saw slice mark on your neck. So I got curious and check it out. After I did I stop and stare at it. It a site I never thought I see" I cover my cut mark on my throat. I can feel my eyes ready to tear up. My feelings for her was all just for her plan I can feel pain in my chest. Chara: "your not the only one with a scar from your past" I look at her. ("What does she mean") chara: "there been a secret I never told mom, dad or asriel. A secret I told my self I will take to the grave" she than took of her Jersey and lift up her shirt. My eyes widen at what I saw, there were cut mark all over her body, on her back, and arms and near her chest too. Chara: "remember that story I told you about my past. I never mention what I was doing all those years. My mother gave me a knife. I was depress that I started cutting my self. Sometime I lie there on my own blood as my mother patch me up. She yell at me for trying to take my own life. But I didn't care I didn't want to live, I wanted to die. I saw you have cuts on you as well" so she saw them? Guess I should have known. Cut from my own father. They dont ache anymore but I dont want anyone to see them. Chara: "to me all human are the same but you are different." I look at her. Wondering what she mean. Chara: "when you came down here you didn't look hostile like the other humans, you look like someone we can talk too, hangout with, share secrets with. You never showed violence you showed kindness and friendship. You gave us hope that we can leave, that the future is worth look for. You didn't gain LOVE but you did gain love. You understand? I may the right choice in sparing you because you taught me something I'll never forget" I wonder what she talking about. She put her Jersey back on and walk up to me. Chara: "you taught me that the past is not to be remembered. It the present and the future that we must look forwards to. You taught me that no matter how bad a person can be they can always be good if you gave them a chance. But there one thing that you taught me that only you did to me not anyone else." She blush and look me in the eyes. Chara: "you taught how to love someone. Not friend love but love love. You know what I mean?" I blushed. Is she, is this what i think she saying? Chara: "so what I'm trying to say is....I love you frisk" I was frozen in place. This is a dream in real life, I never thought I will hear those words come out of her mouth. I grab her hands and try with every breath i have to say it "i" "love" "you" I said and chara look at me happy. Chara: "really! You do! I, uh, i, uh guess that mean we are together. Man is it getting hot in here or is it just me?" I chuckle and pull her to me. We both look at each other eyes "kiss" "me" chara look surprised. Chara: "oh yeah we have to do that dont we well. I guess we should make it rememberble" she put her hand on my face and we move heads closer. Than our lips connected. Her lips were so soft and have a taste of chocolate on them. Chara than deepen the kiss as best as she can. She than move her tongue in my mouth lick against mine as we battle for control. The kiss lasted an hour before we parted to get some air. A trail saliva left our mouth. Chara: "man so that why people like kissing. I guess we should do it more often than~" I chuckled at what she said and lie my head on her chest and she put her head on mine. We stay like that for alittle while. Chara: "I can stay like this forever. But you need to get going our freedom awaits." I nodded and let go. Chara: "after your done meeting him come back here. There something I been wanting to do but it would be great if my girlfriend help with this." I blush at being called girlfriend. I nodded at went to meet the king. I walk forwards until I got to the throne room. Sans was there sleeping on his throne. I went up to him and shake his chair. It woke him up. Sans: " *yawn* sorry about that I didn't knew I was getting visitors" he got off his seat and face me. Sans: "hey there my name is-" he than look at me with wide eyes. Than his eye got dark. Sans: " *sigh* I heard there was a human here. I guess it was true. Tell me how did you feel down here?. Place enjoyable?" I nodded my head and he smiled. Sans: "good. I'm glad to hear. I'm surprised you got this far. I thought you would die before even leaving snowdin. I guess I thought wrong." He than turn around. Sans: "I would ask if you want something but you already know what must happen. I'll be in the next room, when you are ready we shall began but if you have anything to finish off go do them first." He than left and I went back to chara. She was leading against a pillar. I wave at her to get her attention. Chara: "your done meeting the king? Nice guys is he? Me and him dont really get along because of mom keeping him away from me. After all we would have been free if mom didn't save me 10 years ago. Now come here." I walk up to her, we were close that I can feel her breath. Chara: "hold on tight~" I grab her Jersey and she shortcut us to somewheres. It appear in a dark place, the lights are not on and the place look like no one has been down there in years. Chara: "look like he not here, let go." She grab my hand and pull me with her. "Wheres" "we?" Chara: "remember the incident I mention, this is the place where it happen. When you were at the core and battling undyne I sneak in here." "Why?" I asked. Chara than stop and look at me. Chara: "because I want to save asgore and free the monsters he trap down here" I nodded and she continue. I read some experiment logs and they were not happy. Asgore tested on those monster because of the kings order but he will never let anyone know ever. So many love ones were involved in this. We got to a door. Chara look at the keypad on the right and in put the code. Chara: "you still didn't it after so many years dad." The door than open and we appear into a room full of cages. I went to one and the monster. One part was a monster from snowdin and the other parts were from waterfal and hotlands. I was horrified by it than chara put her hand on my shoulder. I look at her. Chara: "they may look like that but they are my friend no matter what" I nodded and she ran over to a console. Chara: "I'll work on getting them out you just keep a eye out for anyone. I nodded.
Chara POV.
Here we are finally after so many year these guys can finally be free. Dad said that no matter what the monster must not know what happen here but I know deep down that it eating him inside. I will help him no matter what. Lucky I know what to press or I'll be pressing random buttons that will make me look bad infront of frisk. I'm glad I told frisk my feelings, I'm glad she feel the same way about me and that kiss we share. It our first one and I already want to tear her clothes off and explore her body. Not right now chara you got work to do. Save those thing when you and frisk are alone. I saw the release button appear and I was about to click it until asgore appeared holding frisk by her sweater. Asgore: "dont push that button chara!" I ran up to him. "let her go now dad!" He look at me with a angry stare. Asgore: "I know what you are doing and I can't let you!" I put my left hand into my pocket to grab my knife when I'm ready. Asgore: "you of all the other monsters understand what why I'm doing thus and why I must stop you." I need him to understand why I'm doing this. "I know that why I'm doing this. Asriel and mom I know they dont talk about you but I know deep down that they still love you. I do too, that why this needs to happen. The monsters need to know." Asgore: "if they do than the king will know. He will kill me for failing him and for keeping this from him. I can't die not now." "your not going to die. Mom wont let you she can protect you!" Asgore was not buying it. He knew I'm just saying words to get him to trust me. Asgore: "how can you lie to me? Why are you against me? Chara please why are you doing this?" Damn it if I just say random words he wont trust me and he may kill frisk I have to come clean. I have to let him understand. "because I want us to be together again. It been five years since it happen and asriel is really sad. So am I. I remember you guy taking me in. I had no one to go too, no one to look up too and no one to call out too. You, mom and asriel are the only family I have left and i dont want to lose you. Even when i already lost my real father before coming down here." Asgore look at me shocked. I never pour my heart out to my family. They saw me as a kind and quiet type of person but now I must tell him. Frisk and the other monster lifes are on the line and I will save them and him. He close his eyes. Asgore: "do you mean what you said" I nodded hoping he understand. Asgore: "thank you for telling me. But I still can't let you do this" damn it! I grab my knife and threw it to his sleeve holding frisk. It may him drop frisk and I grab her before she hit the ground "sorry it took me long" ashore than try to grab me but since I'm a human I dodge it. I put frisk down and stand infront of her. Asgore: "I'm sorry but I wont let you release these monsters. Everything I build up will come crashing down." He than activated the serenity and I got lock out of the system. "Fuck! He lock me out. I have to bypass the serenity system to release the monsters but it will take sometime. I than feel frisk hand on my shoulder. I turn and look at her. She gave me a look the I knew too well. "Are you sure? I dont know how long, what happen of he kills you! I can't bear to lose you!" She than grab my hand gave it a gentle squeeze. She made up her mind and nothing can change it. I gave her one last kiss for goodluck. "Please dont die" she nodded and I went to bypassing the system lock. I may look like I dont know what I'm doing but these last five years I was teaching my self about computer and stuff so when I set this plan into motion, he can finally be saved. ("Please frisk save my father")
Frisk pov.
After the kiss. Chara than ran back to the console and I stand infront of asgore. Asgore: "so you and chara are together now? I'm sorry but you will have to die here. I'm sorry toriel but it has to be done."
(Battle began)
I chose check. "Asgore dreemurr, 10 atk, 0 def. He will do anything to stop us, open his eyes darling~" I than chose spare. Asgore: "I'm sorry human but I can't let the king know" he than summon fire and send it my way. I dodge them. Chara: "I know I'm later to say this. He can summon fire just like mom." Thank for the heads up chara. Chara: "your welcome babe" wait can she hear me? I beg for him to stop. "He hesitated for a second. Attack damage lowered" asgore: "you should know what it like fearing someone all your life. Waitting for it to happen. I need to complete this than I'll be free." He activate sentry guns and they started firing at me. I got hit and it slow my movements. "Your movements is slowed" no shit voice. "Your welcome" damn it now it can hear me. My hp is at 16. So I chose spare again. Asgore: "once I complete what he wanted I can finally leave everything can go back home where my family is. I miss them everyday and night" than laser turrets started firing at me. They shot blue and orange at me. They were random so I got hit by some of it. My hp is 12 so I was about to eat something until asgore used a vacuum drone and took all my items. Asgore: "I wont let you use any items. This is where our partnership end human" fire started blasting from under me. I was able to dodge them. Chara: "if you need to heal your self I can give you items to heal your self just let me know" I nodded and ask for a item.  She threw a chocolate bar and I ate it healing me to full health. Asgore: "chara you were most dear to me. When I did that experiment on you I thought you hate me but you forgive me. That why I need you to understand please." Rocket turrets started firing at me. I dodge them and pledge for him to stop. "He think for a bit. Attack damage lowered down by alot" asgore: "once we are free we can continue our lifes. Chara you will still be part of the family. It all I ask for that why i" he summon fire pillers at me. I got burn taking my hp down to 12. my movements went back to normal. I ask chara for items and she threw chocolate syrup and I drink it. My hp is now max out. Asgore: "please human understand what I'm doing. I'm afraid, I'm scared, I dont want to die, I dont want to be alone. So please stop this" than he use turrets and lasers. I got hit by them. My hp is at 8. I ask for another item and she threw a hotdogs? I ate it and my hp is now at 19. Asgore: "I dont want to hurt you, i dont want to kill you but i will stop you both. No matter what." He than summon fire and rocket turrets and send it at me. I was able to dodge them somehow. I than beg and pledge for this to stop. "He can't make up his mind. Attack damaged lowered to the fullest" asgore: "I want to see them. I want to hug them again. I must free us to be happy again. I can't let you stop me!!" He than did allout attack. Turrets started firing, fire was send right at me, laser charged full and fired at me. I block with all my might. I was still standing. My hp was five. I can hear chara yelling asking me if I was ok. She was really worried. Asgore was standing there look at me. I think he want me to give up. I lift up my arm and push spare one finally time. He close his eye and the laser turrets charge up again. I can hear chara telling me to get out of the way but I can't move my feet wont let me. I stand there look at the laser. ("I'm sorry chara I guess I waste able to save your father") I close my eye as I waited for the laer to fire. I still waited but it didn't fire? I than feel a healing beam on me. I look at asgore and he was looking at the ground. Asgore: "I can't do it. I can't kill someone kind as you. If did I wont face toriel and asriel again. Forgive me human" he stop attacking me. I than chose spare to end the battle.

The battle ended and chara ran to my side. Chara: "frisk! Are you ok?" She put her hand on my face and I rub against it. We than look at asgore who standing there. Asgore: "these long year I was afraid the king knew. That he come here and kill me for failing him. I didn't want to die, I wanted to see you, asriel and toriel again. I wanted us to be a family again but I guess it may not happen" he look at the ground with tears in his eye. Asgore: "I'm sorry, forgive me" I look at chara. She knew what I'm thinking. We both walk up to asgore and hug him. He was taking back but hug us back. Chara: "no matter what your done you will always be forgiven. By me, frisk, asriel and mom. Your family and we never turn our back against you" he smiled. Asgore: "thank you. Thank you. Thank you" we stayed hugging him for a few minutes than let go. Chara: "now can we please release these monsters?" Asgore nodded and we went back to the console. He finished pushing buttons and the release button appeared. Asgore: "shall we button it together?" He ask us. We nodded and push the button. The monsters in the cages ate free. They hug each other and thank us. There voice sound multiple monsters. We than lead them outside and took them to there family. When we got to snowdin asgore was nervous. Chara was holding his hand the whole way. When we got to asriel place toriel and asriel were outside. Asriel was the first to see us. Asriel: "mom look it the human with chara and dad!" look at me and chara than to asgore. She had fire in her eye. Toriel: "I thought you to never show your face again!" Asgore step back. I guess toriel was really scary. Chara: "mom it alright dad has something to tell you" she pull him infront of toriel. He was sweating. Asgore: "I, uh, have something to uh, confess." He took at deep breath. Asgore: "as you already know I did experiment on chara and the monsters but it was not me who want too. It was by the kings orders" toriel looks surprised. Asgore: "he wanted me to test on the power of determination. And to see if us monsters can handle it. As the results if monster have determination. They would melt after awhile. Those monster you saw in cages were injected with determination." Asriel was surprised while toriel covered her mouth. I hold chara hand. Asgore: "I kept the secret from you and the other monster because I was afraid that the king will kill me. I'm not strong, I'm not brave. I always been a coward I just didn't want to die without seeing you, chara and asriel again. I know what I done may take year to fix but i want us to be a family again. Will you gave me another chance?" Me and chara look at toriel. Asriel did too. Chara: "mom please I think he deserved another chance" toriel look at us. Than at asriel. Than at asgore. Toriel: "fine. This wont make up what you done but I will gave you another chance" me, asriel and chara started cheering. Asriel: "we are back to together again" he than hug both asgore and toriel. Chara pull me and kiss me. It was a quick kiss nothing special. We look at toriel and asriel. They were both surprised. Toriel: "does that mean you and her are?" Chara: "yes we are together" asriel than ran up to me. Asriel: "wow so the person you had a crush on was my sister? You should have told me. Oh wait you can't talk" we all laugh than I started to leave. Toriel: "where are you going?" Chara: "to complete her goal. To stop the king and destroy the barrier" asriel: "really well I wish you luck human!" Asgore: "I may not be helping you but I know you can do it." Toriel: "sans is much stronger than you think. I think chara should help you" that maybe true. I dont know any of his abilities but chara does. But I dont want to risk chara getting hurt. Chara: "dont worry mom if there something I know frisk his that. Is that she neve gave up no matter what." I smiled at her and she smiled back. Asgore gave me back my items and gave me some new one that he been work on that may help me. I thank him started walking all the way back to the throne room. The final battle is here and I'm ready. No not just ready I'm determined.

There we go done. I bet you didn't see this coming. I had this chapter thought of before chapter 9. I'm glad with how it turn out. Now for real sans battle is next after that the final roadblock for the ending will be underway. I hope all excited as I am. Peace my friends!
