chapters 10: the story about the incident

I began my journey through hotlands. I was sweating, I should have stay at snowdin. As I walk forwards I keep getting messages from hangoutunderground where 'mrcooldad' was messaging about if he forgot If he watered the flowers or if the camera were online and if he finished his golden tea. It was funny to read. I saw steam vents on the ground than I got a call. Asgore: "hello? It me asgore. I'm watching you from my cameras and saw you ran into the steam vents. Just step on them and they will launch you around. Dont worry they wont being you any harm minus the landing" he than hang up and I step onto the vent. It launch me to the other platform. I landed on the ground and it send a Sting through my body. I than ran into a Bunch of different color lasers. Asgore than ring me. Asgore: "hello you hear me. Good right now I can see that you are near they laser serenity. I can try to hack them to shut them off but it may take a while so you already knew what to do when you see orange and blue so I know you can get through it. I nodded and walk through the orange lasers and stand still for the blue lasers. I got to the other end and press the switch. The lasers than got deactivated. I than ran into a big door, there no switch or button to open. Asgore call me again. Asgore: "ah, you are at the first puzzles. If you want that big door to open there was two shooting puzzle down the left and right paths. Compete them and the door will open. Dont worry I know you can do it. If the others believe in you than i will too" i nodded and hang up. I went down the left path and walk into a building. I got to the puzzle and it has blocks with a arrow point to it. I read the note on the ground and it said I must shoot the green block as well as move the other block out of the way. I only got two trays to hit the block. I went over to the console in the middle of the room and began the puzzle.
*10 minutes later*
Finally! I finally got that stupid green block! I never thought it was this hard. I kick the console out of angry. Than left happy I went back to the door smiling that I did it. When I got to the door it was closes. Than I remember that there one on the right path. ("WHYYYYYY!!!") I thought to my self screaming.
*another 10 minutes*
I finally got that stupid door open. As I walk onto it and appear at the otherside. I saw steam vent on the ground and step onto them and got to the otherside. I appear into a dark area and asgore calls me. Asgore: "that werid this area was not dark a moment ago. Hold on let me get the lights for you." The lights came on and I appear to be at a boot camp. A poorly copy of one. Undyne: "so you finally made it to my boot camp human!" I look infront of me and undyne is dress up as a sergeant. Undyne: "attention! My name is sergeant undyne but you maggots will refer to me as ma'am. When I say something agreeable you will say yes ma'am! Got it!!" I nodded hoping that undyne does get me to talk. Undyne: "good for today's training you will be punch this dummy" the dummy that I was fighting at waterfall appeared. Dummy: "I can't believe I'm on one of undyne shows! I'm so happy I can die" she told me.to hit it with all my might but I didn't want to hurt the dummy. So I hit him as lightly as I can. Undyne: "what! You call that a punch. This is a punch!!" She push me aside and punch the dummy with all her power. The dummy got destroy and I can hear how happy he sound despise being a dummy. She than grab me by the forehead and jump up into the air and we landed on little house that look like human house. Undyne: "now I want you to stomp on those humans house! Make them pay for putting us down here" I look at them and step on them lightly. Undyne: "pathetic! This is how you do it" she started stomping, the whole ground shake from under us and I feel like the roof could come down any minute. Undyne: "there that how you do it. Now what next! Oh I know!" She grab her spear. Undyne: "time for our rematch!!" She slowly walk up to me than lasers appeared and hitting undyne. Undyne: "why are they attacking me! They were created to destroy the human!!" My phone than rang. Asgore: "because I set them to attack you!" I can hear asgore laugh. Undyne: "damn you human! You lucky to have a brilliant monster like asgore to help you but next time I will defeat you!!" She than pose and left. ("So that where asriel got his poses from") asgore: "are you ok? Sorry it took me awhile to help. I gave undyne something to control the serenity system, it seems she found away to lock me out. But dont worry I will not let anything happen to you. If something does, toriel wouldn't let me hear the end of it." I mouth thank you hoping he can see it and continue forwards. I got to the next area and saw a big machine. asgore than called.  Asgore: "that big machine over there? Is called the core. It the source of a power for the underground. My father build that years ago. It converts geothermal energy into magical electricity. That is where we need to go. Goodluck" he hang up and I look at the core. The only thing powering the underground, there so many things that they dont have that we have. I can feel my determination rising I will free these monsters even if it cost me my life. I went down the path and saw what look like a elevator. I walk inside and push right floor 2. The door close and I can feel the elevator going up. I got to right 2 and walk out of the elevator and went to my left. I than see another guard station with chara there. I ran up to the guard station. Chara: "hey there mirror, how have ya been?" I sign good. Chara: "asriel told me what mom try to do. I knew she wouldn't bring you harm. Still it did make me worried a little but your a human, dodging stuff is in our blood." I laugh a the thought. Than I remember what I wanted to ask her. I sign what is the incident that toriel mention
She look at me surprised that I knew. Chara: "let me guess, mom mention it did she" I nodded. Chara: "sorry mirror but that a family matter. Besides she promised to never think about it." I didn't want to leave until I knew. So I gave her puppy eyes. Chara: "mirror no. I'm not going to tell you, it to much of a burden for you to know" I didn't want to give up so I keep up the puppy eyes until she gives in. Chara: "mirror....please....stop" I can heard anger in her voice. Not that it will stop me. Chara: " *sigh* fuck. Fine I'll tell you but not here let talk in my room at snowdin." I smiled and did a joyful dance. Than she grab my hand and she shortcut us to her room. Chara: "welcome to my room. Have a look around if you want otherwise sit down and listen because I'm only going to tell you once." She must not like people in her room. I look around. Her room was not tidy, there were clothes on the ground, chocolate wrappers everywhere and her bed is not made. I can see why asriel wanted to clean her room. I look at her drawer and open it. Chara: "hey! Dont go looking in people stuff without permission" she walk up to me and slam the draw shut. She look embarrassed. I wonder if that was her underwear draw. I sign if I can look at it. Chara: "sure just don't touch them" I can see her blush at she said it. I open it up again it is her underwear draw. But they are different to girl underwear. They were black boy shorts. I thought girl wear panties these day but I guess I was wrong they look comfortable to wear so I grab one and sign if I can try them on. Chara: "you want to try them on? I guess it can't hurt if you try one on. The bathroom is over here" I nodded and went inside her bathroom. It was clean, I guess she put all the work to keep her bathroom clean. I pull down my pants and underwear and put on chara underwear. The comfortable I feel while wearing it was great. I can see why chara like them. I grab my underwear I threw it into chara rubbish bin she had in her bathroom. I walk out of he bathroom and she look at me. Chara: "so how do they feel? Are they alright?" I nodded. Chara: "that good to hear. You can keep them if you want I can always buy some more." I sign thank you can sat down on chara bed. Chara: "finally your ready?" I nodded. Chara: "ok so it began 6 years ago"
*flash back to 6 years ago*
Chara POV.
"Dad, hello?" I call out to asgore. I got a message from him saying he needs me for something. I walk into his laboratory. It empty "dad?" I called out it was dark. I seach for the light switch. I found it but a can feel a big hand on my arm stopping me switching on the lights. Asgore: "dont be scared chara I'm here" I hug him "I was worried something happen to you" as I rub my head into his coat. Asgore: "you are very brave to find me on your own. Now please follow me" he grab my hand and pull me over to the bathroom. We went into the bathroom and there is a secret elevator in there. ("Why is there a elevator in here?") I thought to my self. He pull me inside and push the button. The elevator started moving. "Where are we going?" Asgore was quiet and didn't answer my question. So I read against the wall waitting for it to stop. Asriel than started calling me, I was about to answer until asgore told me to hang up. Asgore: "dont answer that. This secret that is meant to be kept between us" I was never good at keeping secret. But nothing bad will happen right? The elevator finally stop and we walk out. We appear inappropriately very old and dark place like a secret experiment lab you see in those cartoon. I followed asgore as we walk down a couple hallways. Asgore: "there something I been working on. This will change everything, you are  our hope chara. If this works than we can finally leave this curse place." I'm there only hope? What does he mean. Asgore: "my father build this place to do hidden experiments that the other monsters can not know. It by the king order that this place exists." We got to a room full of cages. I look at one and I saw something that will haunt me all my life. It was a monster but has another monster in him or on him. I can't really say. Asgore: "they are my previous experiments. I injected them with something called determination. You may have heard of it after all human are full of them." Determination, it a power that we humans have that keep us going but why is he tell me this. Asgore: "these monsters you see here were about to turn to dust. I injected them with determination to see if can save it life. It did but few days later they started melting." Wait melting? Is that what happen when monster are full of determination? Asgore: "when they were melting they all started to connected to each other. Like making a body out of used parts. The king told me to figure out how we monster can use the power of determination. But as my experiment of determination on the the monsters. I failed but I than realised that there only one that can handle determination" he than walk up to and put his hands on my shoulders. Asgore: "you chara. The only hope of all monsters, you meant to decide our fate by freeing us. You are our determination" I look at him. I know where this is going but i like it here. I have a new home, new family, a new life. I dont want to be alone anymore. "I'm sorry but I can't do it. If I do I could lose everything that I have. I dont want to be alone anymore." Asgore gave me a disappointing look. Asgore: "how disappointing I thought you of all people would understand but it seems I was wrong" I than started walking back until he grab me. "Dad! Let go!" I can feel him lifting me up as I try to pull out of his grab. I than feel my self slam into a table and him pulling my arms over to the cuffs on the table. He clicked it on and did it to my other arm and legs. "Dad please!! Stop this!" He than look at me with a sad look on his face. Asgore: "I'm sorry chara but I can not go against the king's orders. I will do whatever it takes to free us!" I try with all my might to get out of the cuff. I look  infront of me and saw needles slowly going down. I look at asgore "please dad please!" My eyes started to tear up. He look at me and look away. Than the needles stab into my body. Two into my arms, two into my legs and one into my chest where my souls is. I can feel the determination injecting into my body. I shake because of the pain. It hurts, it really hurts!! I shake more, trying to break the cuff. I can hear a voice in my head. It sound like a demon. ("Hurts doesnt it?") ("Who are you?") ("Let say im you but the truth") the truth what does it mean. I can hardly think. This voice and the pain. It fucking annoying.  ("This power that your feeling, at first it will hurt but once it over you can finally take your revenge on the humans who called you demon!") My revenge? No, I never hated the humans I never did right?. ("Why do you deny it. You would have had a good life, if they didn't call you a demon and took your father life!") Wait my father didn't die by his disease? ("Yes that was a excuse your parents used to not make you worried. They lie to you for years!") No that can't be. We were happy we went through so many things together. Didn't they care for me. I can feel my eyes glowing. ("That right they lie to you. All because you had red eyes. Now you can prove to them that you are not weak anymore. Mother, your father, everyone! They will all die by your hands!!") No. ("What!") I will not do what you said! I close my eyes and letting the determination enter my body. Asgore: "chara stop! If you absorb anymore you will die!!" I can't hear him all I can bear was the demon telling me to stop. I will destroy this demon, I will not let it control. I had this life now! It may tell me the true but it will not stop me. "AHHHHHHH!!!!" than a big flash of light happen and I black out. Everything was silent. The demon is gone and the pain stop. "How dare you!!!" I can hear someone yelling. I try to open my eye. I need to open my eyes. "Mom stop!" Asriel voice why am I hearing his voice. I finally open my eyes and I look up. Toriel was holding on to me. "Mom" she look very angry I ,only saw her with this look when she save me from king sans. I dont know if she hear me. I look over to where she was look at and saw asgore surrounded by flames. He hurt, mom must have hurt him. Look like he about to die, I must stop this i dont want to lose a father again. "NO!!" I lifte up my hand and my eyes and hand started glowing. Asgore soul became red and was push into a wall behind him. Toriel attack completely miss him, I did just in time. Toriel: "my child, was that you?" I look at my glowing hand as asriel look at my glowing eye. I have magic now. Toriel look at asgore even asgore. Toriel: "now look at what you done! How could you do this!!" Asgore look at me on his hands and kneels. Asgore: "it was the king's order I didn't want to but I thought this was our only chance to be free. Im so sorry chara" he started tearing up. I knew it hurt him to do it. I got up from toriel hold and grab asriel hand. We both walk up to asgore and hug him. "I forgive you dad" toriel was surprised as well as asgore. Asriel forgive him as well than he hug us back. We were all silent until toriel pull me us. Toriel: "I forbidd you to see them anymore. If I find you anywhere near them I dont think you deserve mercy!" She point to him with her staff. Asgore: "I promise" I knew this was wrong but what can I do?
*back to the present*
Frisk POV.
Chara: "after that me and asriel never went back there again. Asriel been trying to persuade mom to see him. I dont know if it working. Well that the end" she than sit next to me. Chara: "when I use my powers I get tired really easy I guess I'm not used to it." I sign thank you for tell me. Chara: "now that you know what are you going to do?" I shook my head because I dont know yet I didn't knew it was this big. Chara: "dont worry about it I know it will be sorted someday just gave it time." I smiled at her. She got up. Chara: "anyway come on let me take us back to hotlands." I nodded and she shortcut us back to the guard stations. Chara: "be ready undyne maybe doing something up ahead. I dont know what but it maybe dangerous" I look at her and want to thank her with out sign. "Tha-" *cough* *cough* I spat out blood. I dont think I can talk anymore now. Chara: "dont worry once you free us I believe there away to fix you throat that way you can tell me how you lost it. But can you give me a hint?" I nodded and pull my sweater near my neck and revealed a cut mark on my throat. Her eyes were show how surprised she was. I can see a angry look on her face. I quickly hidden it. Chara: "dont worry about it now. Just get to the core we can talk there" I nodded and as I left I can hear a thump noise behind me. I turn around and chara was gone but she left a punch mark on the side of her guard stations. I hope I didn't make her worried. I continue on forwards though Hotlands.

There we go, now we know why toriel detest asgore. Sorry it took me long I went though alot of thinking on how to do this story. I'm happy it turn it just a I thought of it. I hope you enjoy it. Peace my friends.
