That night still haunts me now ...

" it's painful isn't it ?" That woman asked as she took a napkin from wiping away the blood from her face . Breathing hard I layed on the cold floor glaring at her. The cold bodies of my parents layed like broke dolls on the floor , no sign of life on them .long gone .

" your parents hunted down every one of my beloved Brethren . This is my revenge ." She slowly walked over to me bare foot I could feel a aching pain in my neck .remaining silent I could only continue to breath out . My life seemed to be draining out of me slowly ....

" since the members of the Kiriyuu family are infamous vampire hunters ... this is my privilege as a 'pure blood ." She said as she moved away her napkin from in front of her mouth showing her sharp long fangs blood still showing on her face .  This is the end ...

"Enough  ." A voice like an angel 's ordered the vampire turned her head to the new arrival standing in the door way . Standing tall as she frowned at the vampire  her dark  hair as her own body bangs falling elegantly on her face . I struggled to see her face but it came out a blur only seeing the frown on her face. Wearing a pale white long sleeve long dress reaching the floor .She looked so pure that any other person would look tainted against her .

" ah I thought you were long gone or at least you were ." The beauty like demon smirked at her showing her teeth . Growing at her she showed her long fangs right back at her . Another vampire ?

" Shizuka ." She warned the other vampire they continued on exchanging words  . I felt so weak I couldn't understand there words anymore . the silver haired vampire smirked finally  leaving, the  dark haired vampire frowned looking at her as she left before turning to me with a worried expression . Smiling to me she walked up to me getting on her knees as she slowly placed my head on her lap , carefully moving my hair away from my face.

" I'm sorry I didn't get here on time ." She whispered as her cold tears fell on my face .looking up at her with an empty expression I wondered why why did she cry for me . She was the same kind of monster that had done this to me ... yet she cried for me . Why ?

" you must live ... Zero ." She whispered leaning down brushing her cold lips against mine . Cold yet warm   . I suddenly felt as my strength slowly started coming back to me . Did she do this .

" my lady ." A male voice said pulling away we turned to the  door way stood two new figures . Vampires ? A man and a women . The woman had long wavy blonde gold hair with unusual blue sliver eyes with violet mixed in , bangs parted down the middle going just above her eyes . She wore a black hooded cape on as she stared down at me in concern . The man stood tall wearing a butler like uniform with dark black hair is bangs falling neatly over his face with red bloody eyes .

" I understand ." She said to them turning back to me .

" Zero live ....protect--live in the sun . We'll meet again some day ... now it's time for you to go to sleep ." She smiled leaning down as she pressed her lips on my forehead . Suddenly becoming tired my eyelids became heavier as I looked once more at her face . Knowing this wasn't the last time we would see each other as she smiled .

Walking out of the night class dorm I smiled a closed eyed smile as Kaname offered me his arm . Accepting I put my arm though his as we began walking towards the building .
