" I'm sorry , teacher ...because of me ... your eyes ." A small zero apologized sadly looking down at the Yagari a bandage wrapped around on of his eyes .

" you told me to escape but I came back . " Zero went on sadly .

" you .." Yagari traced of siting up from his spot on the grass .

" do you want me to regret risking my life to save you ? Really! I didn't save you to see this kind of expression . " Yagari said to him reaching up to ruffle Zero 's hair .

"Teacher ... why would vampires hurt humans ?" Zero innocently asked Yagari .

" it's because they are sorrowful creatures who can't defy their natural instincts ." A voice said from behind them turning they saw a younger Miyu walking their way . A dark haired red eyed man standing a few feet behind her .

" who ?" Zero asked unsure of who the person in front of him was . Miyu only watched Zero with interest before meeting gazes with Yagari . He glared at her before turning back to Zero ignoring Miyu 's presence .

" therefore we must hunt them down . I and other vampire hunters including the Kiriyu clan, live only for this .

" Don't you understand Zero ? Vampires can only be our enemies ."

Zero let out a loud scream holding on to his injured shoulder.

" Zero !" Yuki yelled out worried looking at Zero with a panic look in her eyes .

" even of its just a light brush , the pain inflicted is great . Because the bullet is imbued with magic arts . Zero, even with your craving for blood... you should still retain your awareness . I'm I not right ?" Yagari asked Zero , his eyes widen before closing . Picking up him gun again , Miyu placed Anubis more closer to Yagari 's neck forming a small red horizontal line before a small trial of blood flood down his neck .

" Enough , Yagari put the gun down . I won't allow you to hurt Zero anymore . " Miyu said to him angrily glaring at the the back.of his head .

" After all these years Anubis is still loyal to you . Even though you got a new toy . " Yagari chuckled putting his gun down .

" What can I say he's quite the jealous type ." Miyu smirked pulling away Anubis from Yagari before bringing the blade close to her . Caressing it, it let out a slight pur before Miyu licked away the blood on the blade . Letting anubis go back to his bracelet form .

" at times he won't even let Kaname near me . " Miyu nodded with a giggle smiling brightly before looking over to the injured Zero .

" mo , you hurt him !" Miyu playful pouted crossing her arms to face Yagari .

"Its my job , I'm a vampire Hunter ." He replied to her a angry vain appearing in his forehead .

"Ha ! Some vampire Hunter ! Couldn't even lay one scratch on me when we first met and your older then me !" Miyu stuck her tongue out to Yagari before crossing her arms turning away from him .

" Why you !" He yelled back at her angrily the two seemed to have forgotten all about Zero and Yuki still in the pool .

" Sensei .."

" Miyu-sama ..."

The two traced off not believing what was going on in front of them .

"You couldn't even bet me as a child there's no way you'd be able to now ! "

" What ?! I dare you to talk to me like that again !"
