Harry's POV

"Daddy!" Nova's cry echoed through the kitchen, before she ran directly into my arms. I hugged her as she sobbed into my chest. I kneeled down to her level to see her big brown eyes covered in tears.

"Baby, what's wrong; what happened?" I asked frantically as I put my phone down on the swing. She cuddled herself into my arms and cried a little more, before she slowly died down. I really only panicked because I had only seen her cry a handful of times since she was an infant.

"Nov, sweetie what happene-" I tried to ask again as I removed my hands from her waist. I opened my palm to see blood covered all over it. I looked at my shirt to see some stains of blood on it. In fear, I slowly lifted her shirt up to see a cut across her waistline, which was dripping of blood.

"Oh gosh Nova." I panicked as I lifted her into my arms. She remained quiet as if she didn't feel any pain but I knew she didn't like crying infront of me.

I grabbed my keys and the spare phone and ran to my car with Nova in my arms. I placed her in the backseat and took out the first Aid kit from under the seats.

"Honey, I want you to look me in the eyes and tell me your favourite song and why okay?" I asked her as I took out the disinfectant, a cloth and a roll of bandage.

She nodded her head and began talking. I closed my eyes, not wanting to hurt my little girl but it just had to be done. I rubbed my hands in sanitiser and dabbed the disinfectant and rubbed it on the wound. Her eyes widened in pain but she didn't shed a tear. After a few minutes I was done and ready to go the hospital.

"D-daddy, am I g-going to be okay?" Nova asked from the backseat. She was laying flat on her back to restrict the pain. Thankfully it wasn't as big as it did when it was covered in blood, but she could possibly need stitches.

"Of Course you are, all angels heal." I reassured her as we neared the hospital. It was silent for a few seconds but she obviously couldn't keep her mouth shut.

"Daddy, am I a fat, worthless, ugly loser like Derek said?" She asked. The moment she finished that sentence, my heart shattered. Who would say that to an 8 year old? For Derek to be 14 and picking on my daughter is pathetic. Once we were done here, that kid would never love to see daylight again.

I began to feel a sharp pain in my chest from what she had asked me. Did she feel that way? How long had this been going on for?

"Baby girl..."

"Yea."

"You are too beautiful to ever think that, inside and out. You know your mum is beautful right?" I started, hoping to cheer her up.

"Ofcourse, she's most the most beautiful girl I've ever seen." I could imagine her smiling, with a right dimpled smile.

"Well, you look exactly like her. You're just as beautiful, you're intelligent, your talented, you're everything a dad could ever ask for; don't ever think otherwise okay love?" I noticed a little tear land on my pants. I wiped my eyes quickly, desperate not to let her know I was crying.

"Okay daddy, I believe you."
