personal headcanons about the things that doa members do in their sleep

- Steals the cover
- All. Of. It.
- There is no sharing, he'll go to sleep like "gn!" then just curl up into a little cocoon and never share any
- And what's more: he will s p r e a d himself out on the bed
- Trying to share the bed with your lovely partner? No way, he's going to curl up then spread out and you'll probably wake up (assuming you slept at all) freezing cold and with a foot in your face
- ngl now's a great time to develop a foot fetish bc he willkick your face and thrash around, and his toes are goingstraight into your mouth
- he twirls around in the bed like a mf ballerina
- one second he's on the right side, the next he's sitting on top of his partner, then he's layed out horizontally, diagonally, sleeping on the floor, somehow gets back up and then does it all over again
- like he's an actual ninja in his sleep
- he falls asleep SUPER fast, just snap your fingers and blam! he's snoring like a baby
- he is also very indecisive in the mornings; he either sleeps until 14:00 and spends all his time whining about how he "doesn't want to do anything today", clinging onto his partner and pleading for them to stay with him and cuddle, OR he's an early bird, awake at god knows what hour, already stirring chaos and maybe some scrambled eggs

- it's the type of snoring that isn't cute or movie-acceptable or endearing, it's just straight up NASTY
- it's like full on, max volume, rRRRRRRROOOOOOHHHHNNN noises spouting out his mouth and nose
- AND IT'S SO CONSISTENT TOO
- pause for 4 seconds
- rrrRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOHN
- 2 second exhale
- repeat
- his partner has timed this over and over again and it never, EVER changes
- literally can't tell the difference between him and a tractor, it's that bad
- the most prevalent issue with this is how utterly gross it is

- drools on the pillow, drools all over his partner, drools anywhere he'd like
- might mutter a few things in his sleep, but it's absolutely random, and in the morning he'll insist that you misheard him
- "But, Fedya, I'm absolutely certain I heard you mumble 'gimme that ass, yum yum slurp' while you were sleeping."
- SOMETIMES CONFESSES THINGS TOO
- "[y/n]... i... was the... one... [insert loud ass snore] who ate... the last... cookie..."
- It's so funny because you're certain you hadn't bought any cookies in the last forever
- his sleep schedule is non-existent, you have never once seen him fall asleep. it's always you going to bed, then you wake up in the morning and see a vague imprint of his body on the mattress, and then discover him already up and working.
- he does, however, love to be held when he's trying to fall asleep, and is constantly tired
- the only sign that he'd ever been asleep was the slight ruffle in the sheets you discover when you wake and the drool coating the pillows
- oh and the loud snoring that woke you up at 2 am

- needs to be cuddled to bed
- yet probably has some form of insomnia
- as far as the doa sleepers go, he is CLEARLY the most pleasant to sleep beside
- might lightly snore, but not to the extent that fyodor does
- might lightly grip onto the covers to keep himself warm and safe because he's having a nightmare, but definitely not like nikolai
- his biggest problem with sleep, asides from finding it, is keeping it.
- he has a LOT of vivid nightmares, especially of back when he was first born and how everything was so confusing
- he sweats a lot in bed for this reason, but he still shivers violently
- in order to tell if he's having a nightmare or not, you can't try to wait for him to thrash around or yell, because he doesn't
- he usually makes very clear, distinct facial expressions, like a frown, or shock, or even sometimes crying in his sleep
- for this reason, he's scared to fall asleep in the dark and with no one around
- he will force anyone, whether they want it or not, to stay with him until he falls asleep
- lowkey one of the security guards at the sky casino has learnt some lullabies by heart for this specific reason
- however, he will never, under any circumstances, ask nikolai
Bram (I'm the only person in the entire fandom that unironically simps for him so yes he is being included)

- there's nothing else to say about this, he's just a l w a y s dozing off
- sometimes, he does stay awake

- I don't know how, I don't know when, I don't know what laws of the universe were broken in the process, but he managed to get a phone and hold it up with his teeth and record his partner sleeping just to make fun of them later on
