**Asiah’s POV **
“It’s negative” I say slightly relived
“You know what that means” Elijah says walking towards me
“What?”
“This” he says pushing me on the bed with his lips attached to mine
We roll around on the bed until I’m on top of him “More practicing?” I question teasingly pulling away from him
“Yeah, haven’t you ever heard of the phrase practice makes perfect” he says wiggling his eyebrows
“Very funny, Mr. Jackson”
“Thank you, Mrs. Jackson”
The doorbell echoes throughout our house
“We should probably answer that” I say getting off Elijah
“Or not” he says
I shake my head walking towards the door going downstairs I answer the door it’s Rashaun
“What are you doing here?” I ask surprised I haven’t seen my brother since my wedding
“You really need to start checking yo’ voicemail” he says walking inside pass me with a piece of luggage
“Hey Rashaun” Elijah greets him sounding just as surprised at me
“Hey bro-in-law”
“Hey baby girl” my mama says with a bag in her hand
“Hi, mama, what’s going on?” I ask
“You didn’t get my messages?”
“No” I say shaking my head
“Well, Rashaun and I have decided to move to Los Angeles”
“That’s wonderful” Elijah says
“Until we find a house we need a place to stay” Rashaun says coming back from the guess bedroom “Damn, nigga do I have to carry all these bags by myself?” he says looking at Elijah
“I gotcha bro-in-law” Elijah says going outside to get more bags
“You and Rashaun are moving to L.A. and you’re going to be staying with us until you find a place?” I ask slightly confused
“Yes, I’m gonna get a big ol’ house”
“Mama, you don’t need a big ol’ house”
“Yes, I do for all my many grandchildren” she says winking
“Asi, are you pregnant?” Rashaun asks walking inside with more luggage
“No” I say feeling flustered
“Babe, you okay?” Eli asks me
“Yeah, I’m fine I just need some water” I say going into the kitchen
“Baby girl I’m sorry I don’t mean to put any pressure of you and Elijah to have more children”
I shake my head “I know but…” I trail off
“Where’s Alexis?” she asks changing the subject
“School today was her first day of kindergarten”
“Aww, she’s grown up fast”
“Yeah”
“We’re done” Elijah announces coming into the kitchen
