“Why didn't you tell me that Drake's and Chris' crazy ass girlfriend was your cousin?”
“I didn't know she dated either one them and besides Jasmine isn't crazy”
“She tried to ruin Drake and I's friendship”
Kady rolls her eyes “I'm sure your being a drama queen like usual”
“I'm being a drama queen? You had that psycho bitch up in my house--”
“That's my cousin your talking about Micheal, you got one more time to call her out her name”
I throw my hands up “Do you have any other shit bat crazy family? Like a crazy ass Aunt or maybe a wack job brother?”
“You think you funny! Well your not”
“I'm not tryna be fun Kady I'm tryna be truthful”
“I'm sorry if you like my cousin but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop being related to her”
I sigh “I'm not asking for that I just--”
“You just what? Don't wanna be with me if she's apart of my family?” she yells
“I didn't say that”
“Then what are you saying Micheal?”
“I don't know Kathleen”
“I hate that name...don't call me that” she yells
“That's yo' name Kathleen—”
Before I can finish Kady slaps me across the face “Get out!” she yells pointing toward the door
“What the hell is your problem?” I ask holding my face
“Get out! She repeats
I stare her for the longest time “No, I'm going leaving we're going to talk this out”
“What is there to talk about?”
“A lot” I say sitting on the bed
**Elijah's POV**
Asiah and I sit in the examine room waiting for the doctor
“I don't think I've ever been this excited in my life”
Asiah frowns “I'm sorry that you didn't to do this when Cassidy was pregnant with Alexis”
I shrug “It's okay cause I was there when she was born it was one of the best moments in my life”
Asiah reaches for my hand as she sits on the table “Aww, babe” she says grinning
The door swings open Jamie waltz his ass in the room immediately I stand up “What the hell are you doing here?” I ask
He looks up from the manilla folders he's read and makes eye contact with me “Oh, hello Elijah, Asiah”
“Hi” Asiah says awkwardly
“What are you doing here Jaime?
“Please refer to me as Dr. Clarke”
“Fine, where's Asiah's real doctor at?”
“I'm going to subbing for doctor. Carter while she's vacationing”
“Elijah, please settle down” my wife pleads
“So it looks like we're going a simple pregnancy test today”
“Yes”
“I need you to pee in this cup” he says getting a cup out of cabin
