**Elijah’s POV**
I wait outside of Alexis’ class waiting for her to be released so I can take her home there are other parents waiting as well just casually chatting among themselves
The bell rings and all the toddlers are running towards their parents I see Alexis she’s frowning as she makes her way over me there is a white women right behind her.
“Daddy” Alexis jumping into my arms I catch her without any problem
“Are you Alexis’ father?” the women asks
“Yes and you are?”
“Alison Parker, her teacher”
“Nice to me you Elijah Jackson”
“Alexis got into some trouble today”
“She did?” I ask
“She hit another student”
“Alexis”
She buries head face in my chest
“She’s never hit anyone in her life I’m sorry this won’t happen again”
“Usually when children start misbehaving they are doing it for attention I don’t know if you have other children or you work a lot but she might be feeling neglected”
“Trust me, my wife and I don’t neglect our child but thank you for telling me about this have a nice day”
“You too Mr. Jackson”
I walk over my car I make sure Alexis is strapped in and we drive off “Do you wanna tell daddy why you hit that kid today?”
She crosses her arms across her chest and doesn’t say a word
“We are going to talk this whether you want too or not”
I see her bottom lip quiver “I’m sorry daddy”
“I’m glad you’re sorry but that doesn’t mean out of trouble, just wait until your mom, uncle, and grandma hears about this”
Alexis pucker up her face and just sits in her car seat
I park the car in garage and get her out of her car seat she immediately runs inside the house I follow behind
“Babe, what’s going with Alexis?” Asiah asks
“Your daughter thought it was good idea to hit another kindergarten today” I say sighing sitting on the couch next to her
“Alexis Dominique Jackson!” Asiah screams “Get your little behind down here right now”
Alexis comes downstairs “yes, mama?” she says showing off her big beautiful brown eyes
“Did you hit someone today at school?”
“N..”
“Before you finish that answer you better think twice before lying to me”
“Yes” she says looking down at her feet
“Why would you hit someone? You know that’s not nice”
Alexis sighs “He called me stupid”
“Oh, I didn’t know that part” I whisper
“That wasn’t nice for that little boy to call you stupid but that doesn’t mean you get to go around hitting people understand?”
“Yes”
