Her proposal

You bite into it and feel something hard. You pull it out of your mouth and see it's a ring. When you look up Cate is on one knee on the floor.

"Y/n. Will you marry me?" She asks.

"Cate of course!"

"Really?"

"Of course! It's about time you asked... you know." You laugh.

"Oh shut up I was scared!"

"Aww, how cute I make you nervous" You tease.

"Oh shut up and put on the god damn ring you asshole."

"Fine! Fine!" You slip on the ring and it fits perfectly. "How did you get my ring size?" You ask raising your eyebrow.

"Lets..just say you're a sound sleeper."

"Creepy."

She rolls her eyes at you and smiles.

"You know you love me."

"Eh." She jokes.

"Oh is that why you proposed to me?" You act offended.

"I do it for the money." She jokes.

You bust out laughing. "What money?"

You laugh together and go into a kiss. "God I love you."

"I love you too asshole."  You mock.

"Oh fuck you Y/n." She laughs.

"Good morning the future Mrs. Blanchett." She smirks.

"Well hello, there my gorgeous fiance."

She places a kiss on your lips and rolls over. "I can't wait to call you my wife."

"I can't wait to call you my wife."  You smile.

"We can meet with a wedding planner sometime this weekend and figure out a date... if you want of course." She asks.

"Of course I want to. I can't wait to get married to you and finally call you my wife."

She lets out a squeal of excitement. "I'm so ready to marry you."

"I know! I'm so excited!"

The wedding planner walks into the home and meets you at the kitchen table. You notice her look at Cate up and down while smirking. You shift in your seat showing how uncomfortable you are. Cate grabs your hand and gives it a squeeze.

"Everything okay dear?" She whispers.

"Yeah, yeah everything is fine." You say giving a fake smile.

She gives you a look to show she knows something is up. "We can cancel if you're not feeling well."

"No, no everything's fine."
