Once again, Beomgyu is rolling around on his bed, not being able to sleep. He surely was thinking of self diagnosing himself as having insomnia, but then again going to the doctors once in a while isn't too bad, although it is kinda the worst place to him.
This time, instead of just waiting there and staring up at the ceiling, he dialed the first person he thought of.
"Taehyunieeee I cant sleep..." Beomgyu whines.
"Want me to come over? I think I can help you sleep." Taehyun asked, Beomgyu hums over the phone. "Alright, wait there precious, I'll be there in ten." He hanged up the phone.
Beomgyu pouted since he wanted to hit the end call button, but at the same time he was glad, 'cause to him, it felt mean to hang up on someone. Even if they let him.
He suddenly heard thunder outside. Shuddering, he started worrying about the other who should be outside at this time.
Minutes later, the bell rang. Beomgyu got up from his spot on his bed and ran down the stairs. He looked through the peep hole to meet with a pair of brown eyes.
He sighed of relief before opening the door to let the other in. "Tyunie!" He says worryingly before moving out of the way, Taehyun entering right after.
He was drenched, head to toe. Taehyun grabbed Beomgyu's arm after closing the door. "Come, let me help you fall asleep." He said.
"But, you're all wet." Beomgyu protested, tugging Taehyun's arm as he tried going up the stairs. Thunder sounded and Taehyun jumped, making Beomgyu look at him with worry.
"I'm fine, you are the important one here."
Beomgyu shook his head, "be logical here, you're gonna get sick." He then dragged Taehyun to the bathroom.
"Gyu- I'm fine, really-" He was interrupted as Beomgyu shoved clothes and a towel at his face.
"No! Go take a shower!" Beomgyu yelled before slamming the bathroom door and going back to his room.
Taehyun sighed and just did as he was told. "Wait- HOW DO YOU TURN ON THE WATER?!"
"TURN THE HANDLE TO THE LEFT!"
Taehyun got the hang of Beomgyu's bathroom and turned the handle. He hopped inside the shower, popping his animal features out.
"Why did I have to be a squirrel?" He asked himself as he stared at his giant tail behind his back.
After cleaning himself, he changed and walked back to the sleepless boy who's mindlessly scrolling through his phone.
"I'm done." Beomgyu looked up from his phone. He sat up from his spot.
"Yay! Come here~!" Beomgyu raised his arms out as he made grabby hands for Taehyun to come.
Doing as he's told, Taehyun waddled his way over to Beomgyu and jumped in his spread out arms.
"Beomie~" Taehyun cooes as Beomgyu's cheek nuzzled against his shoulder. He pets the older's head and tangled his fingers in Beomgyu's fluffy, soft, brown hair.
The two were now laid back on Beomgyu's bed, Taehyun in Beomgyu's arms as he silently played with the other's hair.
"Hey, Tae? I wanted to ask, what about me looks like.. a tiger bear." Beomgyu said.
Taehyun smiled at him before saying, "Everything about you represents a bear. Your facial features also have tiger written all over."
"Tyun, why are you a squirrel?" Beomgyu asked, curiosity seeking.
"Because my parents were squirrels?"
"But you're too smart to be a squirrel."
"Squirrels are very intelligent, Gyu." Taehyun raised a brow. "Didn't you know that?"
"Nope, that's why you're so smart." Beomgyu gave him a cheeky smile before shoving his head into his chest.
Taehyun chuckled and gave his boyfriend a kiss on the head. He then trailed down to his ears, then neck.
Beomgyu suddenly let out an unholy noise, making the younger laugh at the flustered boy.
He continued to stick his lips on the other, finding his way to kiss the older's luscious plump and juicy lips.
They were interrupted by another blast of thunder, making Taehyun jump once again, tensing in the older's arms.
"Tae.. are you scared?" Beomgyu asked. Taehyun nodded and hugged him tightly, eyes shut. Beomgyu frowned and rubbed his back. "Don't worry, Tyun. Beomie's here."
"I'm such a scaredy c-cat.." Taehyun managed to whisper. Beomgyu caught on and shook his head.
"It's alright to be scared, Tyun-ah. Everyone's afraid of some things." He said sweetly.
Taehyun shook his head. "I'm scared of a lot of things.. l-like the dark and thunderstorms.. I'm also scared of heights.." he started. He was naming things off the top of his head, but there are much more things he's afraid of then that.
"Hey, I'm scared of bugs and toy parrots.. I haven't gotten over bugs but I'm here for you. I'll be here for you whenever you're afraid of something, alright?" Beomgyu reassured.
Taehyun smiled upon hearing that. "Were you actually scared of a toy parrot though..?" He questioned, chuckling as he did so.
Beomgyu shyly covered his face, smiling behind his hands. "Y-yeah but it was one time!"
His heart melts at the sight of Beomgyu's cuteness, forgetting all about the thunder outside.
"Reminds me, I'm supposed to be helping you fall asleep." Taehyun said. He got out from their position and laid down straight, pulling Beomgyu onto his chest and wrapping his arm around him securely.
"Alrighty, do your thing.." Beomgyu said, a yawn escaping his mouth after. Taehyun can surely make him sleepy quick.
Taehyun placed a hand on top of Beomgyu's head, caressing it while quietly mumbling sweet things to his lover.

Not even a minute later, Beomgyu was snoozed off, quiet little snores coming from the latter's mouth.
Taehyun smiled once again, his work here was finished. Soon after, Taehyun fell into the deep slumber as he drifts off into the world of dreams.
All he could think or dream about was Beomgyu, but who's complaining? Sure isn't Taehyun.
