Chapter 11 - A slight chance of rain

I woke up in the morning getting at least one hour of sleep and went back to Betis.

"So Klei... what's the plan here?"

"Lupin, here's what the house must look like, demolish everything you built and do it again right this time, I need this to look like this."

Everyone looked at the printed picture.

"This looks like the one in that vampire movie I watched!" exclaimed Jonathan

"Yes. I want a small version of Dracula's Castle."

"Well, no one can stop you. We'll do this right now since it's early in the morning and we really need money."

"Of course, I will give you a down payment which is also my treat to give you the energy to work harder for me."

We all raised our fists shouting AYE!

I celebrated my birthday with the Robillos family. But it was nothing special, I just got drunk enough not to fill in the details of what happened.

November 2021, the 4th quarter of the year. Vaccine massive rollout. People are pushing each other and panicking as if they were a riot fighting over the vaccines going wild animals. As for me, I'm a vampire that's immune to all diseases, I cannot be infected. Nor die. I am immortal.

The castle was finished. It was the first castle bred in Philippine History. It had 6 floors and the rooftop had gargoyles that I paid well damned enough for the sculptures. It was so perfect. My own home...

Then... I rested... in the coffin that I bought recently. Closed it... and slept forever at peace.

"And that was the whole story of my dream, not sure if I detailed it well but I vaguely remember," I said to Madam Intersen

"Is that so? That was an interesting story, it was just a few months in a long dream that lasted 30 years. How funny, you must have forgotten too much of your dreams. Should we revive the order of the shroud?"

"It is best for the two of us to repopulate the vampire race on the surface of the planet earth..."
