Chapter 5 - 4-3-21
4th March of 2021...
I woke up after a nightmare... I was stuck inside a house with no exit, everyone inside was murderers and it was a slaughterhouse. Gladly I found a way to escape, in the path where there was a message... It was something important I needed to look out for in real life, however, I might have forgotten it easily.
7:38 AM
I woke up and did all of my morning rituals. Last night was a long night of too many dreams, the first dream was repetitive dreams about the previous novel I wrote which was my dream journal "Luciferius Luna Saga", a manuscript of my fantasies, and dreams, ambitions, and carnal desires as well. It was a complete nightmare. I had people trying to kill me but I fought back finally doing a roundhouse kick after elbowing their knee. I couldn't fight back because my left shoulder hurts too much from the needle of the vaccine. I had my mother with me in that dream taking me to Guagua, she got me vaccinated in the Rosario Memorial Hospital. Then I went on my own. As well as seeing students, even Vayne herself was there lurking in my own shadow. Reforming each dream to turn it into my own nightmare. Luckily, I survived. I woke up about to scream but luckily, I figured out it was just a dream after a millisecond of waking up. It was just... a nightmare Vayne gave to me after she bit me last night, drained me dry, last night was the first time I've seen her by the flesh and not just by a mere transparent apparitional ghost. Then here I woke up in the morning, I did my morning rituals, and nothing special happened, everything's still the same, last night the vaccine roll out in the news was spreading across the nation but still has not reached the provinces except the famous cities of Manila.
Then, there was an announcement. I know what it was going to say, it's about the vaccine, goddammit I knew it! Finally, some peace in the outside world, for the first time in 4 years.
I was surprised that my father was so odd that I was not even surprised. Why? Because I know this is just another weird dream Vayne made up for me. As well as nightmares are going to come to me anyway. For being not loyal to her since all I know she's just a ghost, I can only hear her words inside my head. She's inside of my head most of the time or has been lurking in the shadows in the corner of my eyes this entire time I lived for almost a decade now.
The workers are not here yet so the father has to wait for them to come first so they know where we are headed and then by then we will tell Cristian that we are headed somewhere, he's the only worker we trust because he is our closest relative in this part of Betis. Since he's just a few walks away from home in his own house. I often used to visit Chanchan there. Chanchan, as I mentioned in the prequel "Luciferius Luna", is the young adult son of Cristian, which makes him my nephew but he's around my own age, as Cristian is around my father's age but Cristian calls my father "Bro" or "Big Bro" in terms of Filipino traditional names just like how Japanese people call people "-chan" "-san" "-chi" "-kun" "-sama" "-dono" "-aniki" "-niisan" in every suffix of the names they call people who are either close to them or strangers depending on who they are to them.
Ah shit, here we go again...
This nightmare keeps on going, the repetitive reoccurring dreams. They never stop, do they? Or is this reality this time? There is only one way to find out.
I pinched myself.
Wait.
It doesn't hurt...
Wait hold on I forgot I have extremely high pain tolerance.
Goddammit, how would I know if I am dreaming?!
Does not matter, I must move on and try to survive and have as much fun as possible.
