Chapter 8

"You know Shinchiro-nii," Shiro started. "You should give Mikey that babu. We can't have a gang leader riding that moped!"

She laid on the couch of his shop upside down with her legs on the headrest.

Shinichiro fixed the babu as he let out a chuckled, "It's his birthday present. So I can only gift him on that day, Shiro."

She pout but gave up nonetheless.

"Sometimes I wish you were my brother instead." She sighed, clearly doesn't like her own flesh and blood that much.

Shinichiro frowned a little. He couldn't believe he got brotherzoned.

"You're so nice to your siblings. You're kind, dependable and amazing so I couldn't help but be jealous of Manjiro and Emma." She huffed.

He laughed, "You won't be that jealous once I drag you out of that house. I'll take care of you and treat you like a queen you deserve." He drops a subtle hints for her about his feelings but she doesn't seem to get it. He smiled sadly.

"I'll take care of you too! Even until you're old and wrinkly, I will definitely take good care of you and that's a promise!" She exclaimed excitedly which made his heart swelled in happiness.

"Promise."

Shiro sat behind Mitsuya as they rode together with the founding members to the beach. Unfortunately, they couldn't pick up the pace because of Mikey's slowness.

"Takashi, we should slow down." She informed him and he agreed as he called out the others.

"Mikey, you really should change another bike. You can't ride with that moped forever!" Draken said.

They were having a mini argument until another gang pulled up and started to make fun of them.

"The fuck did you say?" Shiro was about to throw hands but Mitsuya held her back.

"What's a bitch gonna do? Go home and paint your nails or whatever you girls do." They laughed.

"Takashi, let go of me. There's someone I need to kill."

"No! That's precisely why I held you back!" He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her closed onto his chest. "Just ignore them. We won't be seeing them again."

She clicked her tongue and gave up.

They rode again but Mikey suddenly stopped. His moped were out of gas and the others were deadpan at him. "This is bad! This is bad for Toman!"

They all sighed. Mikey suggested they should do a rock paper and scissors.

Baji lost so he had to push the moped to fill up the gas.

Long story short, Baji got attacked by the gang that made fun of them and Mikey comes to the rescue and they finally made it back to the beach after refill the gas.

"What took you guys so long?" Shiro asked. "What's with the bruises?"

"We met up some gang on the way. Nothing serious."

Shiro had a plain black shirt with shorts and her long red hair was wet from playing in the water with Mitsuya and Draken.

"Well, let's have some fun!" She pulled their hands and dragged them to the water. "Takashi!" She called out and splash the water at him. "Opps. Not sorry!"

He had a irked mark on his forehead and splash water back at her. They were having a war, water kept splashing everywhere.

They were having fun without knowing that tomorrow bad things going to happen.

"Do you have a crush on someone?"

"Huh?"

"Well?"

Shinichiro blinked a few times at her random question that she always would ask him.

"Well...." He trailed off, looking anywhere but her which made her smirked.

"There is someone!" She teased. "Who's the lucky girl? Is she pretty? Do I know this person? Come one, Shinchiro-nii! Tell me all the tea!"

He awkwardly laughed, not knowing how to get out of this situation.

"She's really lucky to be like by you. If you guys do end up together, you definitely would treat her well." She genuinely spoke her thoughts. "Even though you're lame and silly, I know she will really appreciate you."

He was silently listening to her. "You praise me too much, you know that." He blushed, rubbing behind his neck. "How do you know she will appreciate me?"

"Hm? Well, if it was me. I definitely appreciate you." She smiled. "So tell her your feelings or else someone will snatch her away!"

"Maybe someday I will. Someday."
