Chapter 22

After Mikey announced that Toman is disbanded, which leave everyone shocked, a week later, all Toman's captains and vice captain were gathered by the tree which were beside the Shrine.

Shiro stood beside Mitsuya, Draken and Mikey.

A week ago, after sending Shiro to a hospital, Mitsuya burst through her hospital room and began lecturing her about being reckless. He couldn't stayed mad for long and hugged her tightly, apologised for the things he did.

Shiro could only smile and accept his apology. She was happy that things with Mitsuya were all good and back to the way it was.

"Mikey... I'm sorry." She started, bowing down and tears began to form. "About Emma... I knew about it and yet I didn't stop them from killing her. I'm fine if you hate me because I deserve it."

Mitsuya eyes widen and tried to make her stand up, "S-Shiro!"

"It's not enough to atone my sin." She breathe in sharply, standing back up straight and stared into Mikey's eyes intensely, "I will gladly kill myself if you wish."

Everyone's eyes widen at her crazy statement. Mikey was silence, he understands her feelings. She's just lost her way due to her emotions and being manipulate by Izana. Although he felt upset, he still gave her a gentle smile, "I forgive you. Everyone's make mistakes, there's no point in getting angry if they aren't here. Right?"

"Mikey..." She started to break down and cried her hearts out as Mitsuya held her in his embrace.

Everyone was startled, no one had ever seen her cry. Not even when Shinichiro or Baji death made her cry, at least not in front of anyone.

Shiro was a serious and confident person so they often mistaken her to be strong mentally. They failed to realise that she's just a 16 year old kid who was raised in a abusive household.

"S.. Sorry about that." She sniffed after calming down. Her hand still gripped onto Mitsuya's arm sleeve, not letting her. Being closed to Mitsuya had always feel safe for her, he had the perfect older brother aura around him.

"Hey everyone! To commemorate our disbandment, let's do a time capsule!" Hakkai suggested.

"Sounds good! Let's do it!" Mikey smiled and the others agreed. "Let's see, how about we write a letters to ourselves and open it 12 years from now!"

"12 years?" Mitsuya asked. He looked at Shiro and she shrugged, "Who knows. But it sounds fun!" She grinned.

"Let's gather here in a week, bring your letters and whatever you think is important!" Mikey said.

"Sounds good!"

Izana and Kakucho were living in the Akashi's residence after the dispute with Tenjiku lost. Shiro had them both stay with her since they had no where else to go.

Seijuro agreed with her request even though he wasn't fond of having delinquents living together with him. After all, he had sworn her that he will support her whatever she desires as his atonement for all the years he ignored her.
