"Where's Takemichi?" Kisaki asked. He, Hanma and Chifuyu were outside of the restaurant, waiting for Takemichi to plan their move against Shiba Taiju, the leader 10th generation of Black Dragon.

"He should be here soon. Anyway let's head in first, it's too cold out here." Chifuyu lead them in.

Upon getting in, they saw Shiro sat at her table emotionless, staring into nothing. She had new patches on her faces and bandages on all of her limps. A bruises was visible on her lips.

Her father had beaten her yet again. It was the usual, her getting beaten and went to Mitsuya for comfort but now, she's all alone.

She didn't hear Chifuyu who kept calling her until he placed his hand on her shoulder and she jolted up in surprise. Her extreme flinch caught them off guard as they sweat drops. "Oh, it's you guys...

What a weird combination." She smiled warily at the trio.

"What's up with the bandages?" Kisaki asked, looking over her mess up face.

"Had a fight or something? You're wrecked." Hanma laughed before they all sat at her table. "Yeah... Some asshole decided to pick a fight with me." She lied.

Kisaki raised his eyebrow, clearly not buying her lies. If anyone mess with her, he knew she would defeat them in an instant.

"So, what are you guys up to? Chifuyu, I didn't think you're friends with them. What's the deal?" She asked.

"They're not my friends!" He argued. "We just going to have a meeting about defeating the bla-hmp!" Kisaki shoved Shiro's cold fries into his mouth, shutting him up.

"We're just hanging out, deciding to be friends since we're in the same gang." He answered in Chifuyu's state.

"Is that so?" She asked skeptical about his answers. She sighed, "Whatever." Again, she looked outside, staring into nothing.

Chifuyu was silently glaring at Kisaki who sat on his seat with a straight face, ignoring him.

"Give me yer wallet, boy!" They heard a loud voice, coming from outside. Shiro's eyes widen at the sight.
And without a second thought, she ran out-her body move on its own as her mind was blank.

"Hey." They turned to the voice and she punched one of the guy's guts, he coughs out bloods and his eyes went white. Completely passed out.

"Bitch!"

She back handed punched another one in the face, broken his nose and bloods leaking out uncontrollably. The guy body was slammed against the restaurant's glasses, breaking it into pieces.

Everyone was jaw dropped, complete terrified of the situation. All they could do was watch in silence, not daring to move as they're afraid of getting kill.

She had knocked two man down, leaving one who was shaking from fear.

"Do you like picking on the weak?" She asked with a smile on her face.

"H-huh? Um-"

"I hate people like that. So, if i ever find you guys do this same shit again,

I'll kill you."
That was enough to make him wet his pants and quickly ran away, leaving his friends behind.

She finally looked down at the person. Their crimson eyes met and Shiro held out her hand to him. The person gulped and slowly accept her help. She pulled him up and begin to walk away.

"Shiro." She ignored him.

"Shiro... Aneki!" She stops, not turning around. The person took this chance and continued, "... Why do you save me?"

Why did she saved him?

Right now, she felt nothing. Her heart was like a void, she felt so much emotion at once and it overwhelmed her to a point where she couldn't decipher what she was feeling.

Was it anger? Sadness? Confusion?

However, deep down in her, she knew what that void was. The void she desperately tries to suppress within her, the void she had locked away years ago was now slowly started to crack.

She finally turned to him, which gave him the time to stare at her bruises face. He looked away in pity as he recalled what had happened this morning.

"I won't quit my gang! You can't stop me!" Shiro yelled, wincing at the pain on her arms after her father hit her with a metal rod while Seijuro and his mother watched on the sidelines.

"Shiro. If you don't listen, I will destroy that childish gang in an instant!" He threatened.

"Do it then! Let's see if a corpes can do anything to them." She glared daggers at him. No one dare hurt her precious family or she will get her hands dirty, soaked in their bloods if she had to.

A man in suit came in, bringing a laptop and showed a picture of all Toman's captains. "Let's make a deal then. You had ruins the name as enough as it is so choose wisely, Shiro.

You either listen to me or their misfortunes befalls them."

Her heart sank, clearly backed into the corner with no way out. Her eyes wandered to Seijuro, silently screaming at him for help to which he flinched and looked away as if this wasn't his concern.

What did she expect anyway. It wasn't the first time this had happened and yet, she couldn't help but reach out to him only to be rejected in the end.

She gave up, and with a shattered heart, she spoke, "Leave them alone and I'll listen to you."

He smirked in victory, he won't have to worry about his reputation anymore. As he was about to speak, she cuts him off.

"I'll quit after the new year. That's the least you could do."

"....'Aneki' huh? It's been a while since I last heard it." She gave him a small smile, yet her eyes hold no emotion. "To answer your question. Well, who knows? I don't even know why I ran out here."

He opened his mouth but no words come out as he could only watched her walked away. What was he going to say? Would an apology suffice and mend their relationship?

No.

It wouldn't.

At this point, no one could save her but herself.
