The Rain Kiss

The next two days of shoot was scheduled at night. Boyoung took proper rest during the day and prepared for it. They were going to do the filming for the scenes right after the Amusement park when Dong Kyung meets her Aunt and Myul Mang tells her to choose life.

She arrived at the set which was prepared outside Dong Kyung's house. It was very evident that something was going on in her mind apart from the dialogues. She kept looking for Inguk who was nowhere to be found.

She checked her phone repeatedly to see if he had informed about his whereabouts but there was nothing.
The wait was causing her more and more anxiousness, given that she had something important to talk to him about. 

I don't know how he will react - She thought.

"Boyoung! Hi.." he called out to her, gently putting his arm over her shoulder from the back and standing close. 

She was startled at first but felt relieved later that he was there at last. She could feel the warmth he had and it felt so good. But her mind was in dilemma.
She looked back at him, struggling to smile. 

Inguk immediate left her shoulder and stepped back. He was very quick to understand body language, specially when it was Boyoung, he was very considerate towards her comfort. 

"How are you?" He asked casually, wondering if something was wrong.

"Oppa.. you're here ... I was waiting for you " She said avoiding eye contact.

He took another step back and pursed his lips. He knew something was not right. She wasn't smiling, she didn't have the glow he always saw.

"Is everything okay ? Tell me." 

She looked at him helplessly and spoke 
"Can we talk ?" 

"Yes. We have some time.. Come " 

Usually he would hold her hand and take her along with him , but this time he walked towards the side and let her follow him.

They went to a secluded bench at the side of the road. Inguk instructed the crew to leave them alone for a while since they had to rehearse for the dialogues.

"Yes.. tell me." 

Boyoung felt shattered. She coould hardly think how to say what she wanted to, without hurting him.

"Boyoung.. did I do something ? Are you mad because I didn't call you ?" He chuckled.

She forced a smile , feeling terrible about what she had in mind. 

Taking a deep breath and calming her mind down, she finally spoke.

"Oppa. I think ... if we date.. it would be.. I don't know.. I.. I- " she stammered.

That was enough for him to understand. He instinctively went on to hold her hand but stopped mid way and dropped the idea.

He sighed and smiled the same way as he always did.

"If we don't date , would you be back to normal at least ?" He chuckled.

She didn't smile at all. Her heart broke into a million pieces seeing him still smiling at her. She let her head fall down in defeat.

"Boyoung? Why are you so stressed? There is nothing wrong if you don't want to go ahead with this " he spoke without a bit of hesitation.

Her eyes were starting to brim with tears. She was totally confused about what she was doing. Was it really for their own good ? Or was it a big mistake?
