A Thousand Years

Inguk looked down at his hand and how tightly Boyoung was holding on to it. They were nervous as well as excited for what was upcoming. Boyoung was looking out of the window as they were on board their private jet to Jeju. They always knew it was a special place for them, and there was no better way to get married.

" Boyoung" Inguk whispered to her.

" Yes," she said smiling at him.

" Why are you looking out ?"

" Umm... I was trying to recall how we were going to Jeju a while back, for our shoot"

" Ahh right. Who would have thought we would be heading there for our wedding someday" He said pulling her closer and caressing her hand.

" Oppa, everything is happening so fast, it makes me feel nervous"

Inguk took her hand to his lips and kissed it.

" What is making you nervous, flower?" he asked.

" I don't know if the preparations would go well"

" It's okay, we planned everything. "

" I just wish it all goes well Oppa "

" It will. Trust me" he said pulling her into a hug.

They landed in Jeju and their wedding was just one night away. They had invited only close friends and relatives. They were all staying in the same hotel which they had used during the filming of Doom at your Service.

Boyoung was curled up in the bed of her hotel room, feeling giddy about the coming morning. For some reason, she felt numb. She knew she was happy and excited about the wedding, but the nervousness of having such a big day of her life made her cold feet.

I want to meet you Oppa! - she thought to herself, knowing that for customary reasons they were not allowed to meet each other a night before the wedding.

Thankfully, at the same moment, she saw her cellphone ring with Inguk's name on it. She smiled and picked it up.

"Hello? " She spoke.

"Near the water fountain of Building 2. There is a shaded area with a small bench. I'm waiting. Try not to get caught."

Boyoung chuckled and blushed instantly. She recalled how she was the one last time to call him to that place because he wished to meet her.

" Oppa .." she tried to object but he had already cut the call by then.

"He is unbelievable," she said jumping off her bed.

She walked towards the bench, where Inguk was sitting covered in a black hooded jacket. She tiptoed towards him while he smiled at her.

" We weren't supposed to see each other Oppa! " she whispered, while he made space for her to sit.

" That's why we are hiding from others," he said holding her hands as she sat next to him.

" Hmm, why did you call me here ?" she asked

" Why ? is it the first time you're sneaking out with your would-be husband? " Inguk chuckled.

" Oppa! " Boyoung giggled.

" Boyoung..." he said, " I wanted to see you"

" Me too," she said smiling at him.
