The Flower

The night had become darker and people had retreated to their tents to take some rest. They had to go sightseeing the next morning.

Boyoung was lying next to her sister. Both of them were wide awake, lost in their thoughts.

" Unnie, what are you thinking? " Boyoung asked.

" I'm thinking about your boyfriend "

Boyoung lifted herself a little and stared at her in amazement.

"What?"

Soyoung smiled at her and shook her head.

" I think he is different. Not like your other boyfriends."

" What makes you say that all of a sudden? "  Boyoung questioned.

"Well, that day at your home, I was rude to him.. and your relationship "

" Hmm.." Boyoung lowered her head feeling bad about the situation.

" But. if he was like the other guys you had dated, he would have either broken up with you or insisted you not to see me anymore"

Boyoung nodded,  feeling proud of him.

" It's nice to spend time with you. First in Jeju, then here. I always thought I had lost you as my little sister a long time back. But he proved me wrong " Soyoung confessed.

Boyoung's eyes brimmed with tears and she leaned on Soyoung, taking her into a warm hug.

" I love you so much Unnie , you mean a lot to me," Boyoung said.

" I love you too. " Soyoung hugged her back.

It took them a while to talk, share memories, gossip, and many things they needed to catch up with. In the end, the sisters had the most peaceful sleep of their lives after many years.

Inguk was fast asleep under his blanket, but Soohyun could hardly sleep. He was too excited to get up and go for the tour. He glanced at Inguk who was mumbling something under his breath.

" What? What are you saying?" Soohyun whispered.

" I think.. " Inguk talked in his sleep.

" Yes? Are you watching a dream buddy??" Soohyun moved his hands over Inguk's face.

" I think I'm in love with you " Inguk spoke.

Soohyun widened his eyes and sat right up. He was shocked and confused at the same time.

" In love with me ?" Soohyun said to himself.

He frowned and shook Inguk to make him come back to his senses. Inguk abruptly opened his eyes and stared at Soohyun.

" What? Why did you wake me up ? " Inguk fussed.

"Sit up. Sit right up." Soohyun commanded.

"What's wrong with you ?" Inguk said before lifting himself.

"Dude. You just said You're in love with me ." Soohyun said with a straight face.

Inguk raised his brow and wondered what Soohyun was talking about.

"Are you kidding me ? Why would I say that to you?" He clarified.

" Then who is it ? Who were you saying it to ?" Soohyun asked.

"Aah.. umm nothing.. nobody "

" Isn't it her? Boyoung? " Soohyun asked directly.
