" Wow," said Boyoung as she entered the house. It seemed to have an entirely different look this time. She could see how creative Inguk's mother was.

" Sit," his mother said pointing towards the couch.

Boyoung steadily sat down without saying a word. She tried to smile but her nervousness was at its peak. Inguk followed her and was about to sit next to her when his mother interrupted.

" Help me get some cold drinks for our guest, Son" she said signaling Inguk to follow her.

" Oh yes sure" he immediately go up and followed, watching Boyoung from the corner of his eyes.

She is surely going to scold him - thought Boyoung biting her tongue.

Inguk followed his mother as she walked into the kitchen. He kept looking at his side to have a look at Boyoung when his mother turned him towards her.

" What is up with you ?" she whispered with a blank face.

" Eomma... I am sorry, I shouldn't have done what I did outside, I swear Boyoung did not tell me to do it... Please .."

" Aaah! shhhhh..." his mother hovered her hands in front of him and instructed him to keep quiet.

" W- what... Eomma please give her a chance ? " he pleaded.

"A chance? Are you kidding me ? " she burst out in laughter.

Inguk was confused and squinted his eyes.

" Eomma? You're laughing ?"

" Of course I am.! " she said holding him by the shoulders.

" You are not mad at me? or Her ?" he murmured, unable to understand what was happening.

His mother rolled her eyes and tilted her head.

" Mad? No! My son just brought a girl home saying that he loves her! What could be a better day for me " she expressed her excitement and started roaming around the kitchen to prepare something to eat.

Inguk stood there with a shocked expression. He did not expect his mother to be this excited. Until then he was only finding ways to convince her.

" Eomma.. then what about your friend and her daughter.." he said mumbling.

" Ah... it's okay, your choice comes first."

A smile crept on his face and he hugged her tight.

" Thank you Eomma.. " he said.

She broke the hug and kept her hand on his head.

" God bless you " she smiled.

" Ah. But why were you behaving so cold in front of her? I was so scared " he whined.

" Ya! what would she think if I went all excited in front of her? I have to maintain my reputation as your mother " she shrugged.

Inguk chuckled at how cute she was at times. It was the happiest and most relieving moment for him to know that her mother was happy.

" By the way, she's beautiful. I didn't know you have a good choice. But it seems you took it after me " his mother said proudly.

Inguk shook his head and giggled.

Boyoung was nervously looking around. She rubbed her hands together to try and control her anxiety. She was very confident to meet his mother earlier, but she hardly knew that the actual thing would be so scary. More importantly, she was nervous because she did not want to have a wrong impression on his mother as she did not want to lose him due to that.
