It's Called Destiny

Boyoung walked into her room feeling numb. She had coincidentally paid a visit to the same restaurant where Inguk had been. Never had she imagined that she would see him there with another girl. She had guessed it was the same girl he was talking about earlier.

She sat down on her bed and held both her knees together, close to her chest.

" I wish it is just a misunderstanding " she mumbled to herself, but she didn't know how to deny what she saw from her own eyes.

It wasn't that she didn't want to know what he had to say about this, but she was hurt because she couldn't stand the fact that he was there with another girl, who was a potential match for him in the eyes of his mother.

Even if she tried not to think about it, all sorts of bad possibilities filled up her mind.

She squeezed her eyes shut and tears started rolling down her cheeks. She couldn't imagine being apart from him, let alone the fact of him being with another girl.

She rested her head on her knees and her thoughts went back to the day she had felt something for him for the first time.

It was the day of our script reading. I anxiously rubbed my hands together while I sat in the car heading towards the venue.

I wasn't sure exactly what was making me so nervous. But I couldn't help thinking about him. Seo In Guk, my co-actor. I  met him few times before but hardly for few minutes. The day he was introduced to me as my co-star, we talked for a while, but he was very formal. I had always wanted to work with him, but I never knew I would actually get a chance this way.

I looked out of the window and chuckled when I got reminded how he had accepted that he was my fan. I wanted to tell him how much it meant to me because I consider him as one of the finest actors in this industry, but I couldn't. He made me speechless for some reason, he was always so good with words.

I was nervous about whether I would be able to be a good co-actor or not. Yes, maybe for the first time in my life, I was nervous if I was good enough. But why?

The car stopped abruptly, waking me up from my thoughts. Our venue was few meters away and we were supposed to walk the remaining distance.

I stepped down and noticed a small shop right next to my car. I bet the owner didn't even know who I was and I felt relieved. While I stood there and waited for my manager and bodyguard to collect everything, something in the shop caught my attention.

The shop owner sold orange candies. Ah! I can't explain how much I loved them when I was young. I wanted to have them, but how could I?  I was surrounded by people and wasn't even allowed to eat as per my wish.

I put my head low and walked ahead with my manager towards the venue...

I was welcomed warmly with a bouquet and fancy chocolates,  but my mind was stuck on the candies.

Hardly after few minutes, I heard a buzz. My heart skipped a beat when I realized HE was standing at the door.
