•Lucy's POV•

"Princess, it's time for you to get up!" Virgo insisted for what felt like the hundredth time this morning. There's no way I'm getting up.

"Virgo, please give me five more minutes..." I groaned from underneath the comfort of my pillows and various blankets. The only safe haven I have. My bed.

"Princess, I don't have that kind of option in this situation! Please get up for me." Virgo whined while lighting a few candles and opening the curtains. I understood why Virgo was so direct, it was my father. Virgo was my personal maid and friend, my father calls her a maid and I call her my friend. Right now I want to throw a tantrum like a little kid and not get up, but I'm seventeen and not little. Little kids don't have boobs the size of mine.

"Okay... I'll get up, just let me get ready."
I muttered from underneath the blankets. I basically contradicted myself just now.

"Thank you so much Princess. Your father wishes to speak with you after you are ready." Virgo stated as she left my chamber.
I can't even freaking believe it! My father is going to make me do this, especially when I'm only seventeen! I'm too young to get married! I wouldn't mind getting married if it wasn't for the fact that it's to a complete stranger!

My life isn't supposed to be like this! Why Mama? Why did you have to go? My mother died when I was seven. After her death, my father went cold. He yelled at me when I was the ages of seven to ten, until one day he started abusing me. I always left him alone when he drank-more often than I'd like- because that's when his beatings were the worst.

Over the years, we have hardly talked, other than about marriage arrangements, and I began to hate him for his cruelty. He didn't even treat the kingdom with respect anymore.

The whole kingdom was scared of him. My father made sure no one in the kingdom talked to me. So I was ignored when I left the castle. I just stopped going outside the castle walls all together.

And now I'm being forced to marry Leo the Lion, prince of the Celestial Kingdom. That orange head was such a pervert. I mean I didn't hate him, but he was such a player.
With a heavy sigh, I finally decided to get up from my bed and headed towards my closet filled with dresses galore.

I looked through the dresses and immediately spotted my favorite and pulled it out of the closet. It was a scarlet color dress with a little gold line outlining the bottom. The dress ended a little after my knees, and had long sleeves. I also wore darker red heels to match.

You see, this dress was special; Mama used to wear it. I looked in the mirror only to sigh and pull my red ribbon out of my little wooden jewelry box, pulling a section of my blonde hair into a side ponytail, which was my signature hairdo.

I was finally prepared to walk down the hall to my father's door, making sure to knock precisely three times or else he would lash out on me. I heard a faint, "come in," and I closed the door behind me. I walked towards the desk as slowly as possible, seeing him grin like the Grinch who stole Christmas.

"Listen to me carefully, because I'm only telling you once, so don't interrupt me. You will be moving to the Celestial Kingdom to live in the castle with Leo. You will be leaving today. Your stuff was packed minutes ago." He said sternly. I froze right on the spot. I was going to live there, forever? I was being forced to live with a man I didn't even love, yet alone know!

"What?! Why do I have to go? I want to be married for love... Not by force! Please don't make me do this..." I yelled out, quickly regretting it. Oh no. The next thing I know, he was towering over me.

"Love isn't real. Love is a weakness people shouldn't have. It weighs you down. You will marry Leo. And you are going to regret ever saying that." He threw his fist into my stomach, causing my eyes to grow wide and I then let out a quiet yet pain-filled scream. My father then hit me as hard as possible in the chest, making me lose all of my breath.
