•Lucy's POV•
I know this is a dream. I've gotten quite good at noticing when it's reality or a dream. At times, it feels so real, but right now, I feel so empty. I'm not even sure if someone could feel like this. Millions of dreadful thoughts passed through my mind.
Why?
Why do such terrible things have to happen in life?
I laughed bitterly. That last question was a question that would probably never be answered. I bit my bottom lip.
I want to scream, but it got caught in my throat. I haven't felt this helpless in a long time. What happened to me?
Why have I become so discouraged?
Not even tears would come. Tears would be better than this...empty feeling. Who am I? Where am I? I feel so lost. I turned my head to the right and my eyes became fixated on a flower. I realize now that I am lying down in a flower patch.
These flowers reminded me of something, a distant memory I think. Why couldn't I grasp the memory? It seemed important. I finally felt emotion whenever I look at the flowers surrounding me. These flowers, you could say they were like the beginning of my adventure.
I needed to stop thinking like this. These flowers brightened up the dark place I was in. I reached my hand out. I wanted to move, I really did. I just need, a little...push. I struggled against the invisible chains that held me down.
A hand clasped around mine and I was pulled up immediately. In front of me I saw the biggest grin know to mankind. This person's fingers entangled themselves with mine. I felt a twinge at the end of my lips as I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
"Thinking is so lame Lucy." Natsu whispered to me. Thinking was definitely important. But, I needed a break here and there. I opened my eyes and smiled a little at hom, them I untangled our fingers from each orher..
I slowly brought my arms up and wrapped them around Natsu and he followed suit. I knocked my head into the croak of his neck and breathed in his scent, making me feel warm inside.
"We have a very important person waiting for us." Natsu whispered in my ear. Natsu kissed my temple. I nodded my head as I bit my lip.
"We do. I'm sorry I was so out of it." I apologized. As soon as those words left my mouth, I woke up.
•End of Dream•
I wanted to sit up, but it was like a weight was on me. I could feel something on my head as well. I opened my eyes slowly to see the white ceiling and some blonde hair out of the corner of my eye.
My eyes felt very droopy. It took me quite awhile just to get them to stay open. I tried to lift myself up once more, I failed again. I was really curious on why I could not move. Oh no. What if it's sleep paralysis?!
No, it's not that. I turned my head to the right to see Thomas. Thomas had his right leg hooked around my legs and his arm was snug around my waist. Thomas also had his head laying on my shoulder. He looked so, peaceful. I was able to lift my left hand that wasn't under Thomas.
I reached my hand up and patted him on the head. When Thomas wakes up, how will he react? I glanced down at him one more time. We will of course have to take him in, he's a sweet kid.
He didn't deserve something like that.
"Oi Lucy." I heard Natsu whisper to me. I looked over more to my left to see Natsu laying down next to me. Natsu smiled softly at me. Great, I was now being sandwiched in between two people.
