•Lucy's POV•

As we were eating, I remembered something.

"Guys! We need to get going! We only have 4 days until the other dragons come! We still have to gather all the ingredients for the food, cook all the meals, and set the table! We won't have enough time!" I yelled finishing up my grilled cheese sandwich I made. Happy had a raw fish for lunch, and Natsu had spicy chicken.

"Oh yeah! So where are we headed first?" Natsu asked as he devoured his last piece of chicken.

"I was thinking, maybe the cave where the metal treasure is?" I nervously gulped, the thought of monsters being in there returning.

"I thought you didn't want to go there." Happy stated childishly.

"We need to get the metal right? I'll do anything to meet more dragons!" I said, eyes sparkling.

"Geez Lucy, it's almost as if you want to be a dragon. Sometimes I wish I could be human..." Natsu didn't finish his sentence but looked at the floor.

"Why would you want to be human? Being a dragon makes you look stronger, and cooler!" I'm really curious now. Why does he want to be human so bad?

"I don't know why, but I've been feeling a different feeling ever since you came here. I don't know how to explain it, but I feel like I've know you since...forever! I really don't know what to do... I want to figure out who you are from my past!" Natsu exclaimed seriously but he had a slight blush on his cheeks.

I thought for a moment but then it hit me like a tidal wave. I started breathing heavily with tears beginning to well to in my eyes.

"Lucy, you okay?" Happy asked flying towards me.

"I-I figured it o-out..." I replied shakily.

"What did you figure out, Lucy?" Natsu was very curious, but worried at the same time. I finally found the one person...or apparently the dragon I was looking for.

"I-It's you! It all makes sense now... It was you all along..." I slowly walked over to Natsu but tripped on something on the way.

"Umph!!" I yelled surprised. I was expecting to fall on the cold rock floor, but instead I fell into two warm, crimson colored scaled arms.

"What do you mean, Lucy?" I looked up, and stared right into onyx colored eyes that were stating back into my chocolate ones.

"I-It's just t-that... You know that man my mother told me to find in this forest...?" I had a scarlet colored blush painted on my cheeks because I was still in his arms.

"Yeah? What about him?" Natsu stated worriedly but... Annoyed that I was talking about another man? I then put my right hand on his neck, making him look at me.

"I finally found him. It wasn't a human, it was a dragon. He is just how she described him. Nice, funny, caring, fun to be with, sweet, kind, brave, and a bunch if other amazing things. She told me I would find someone from my past that would be my new family, but he was different from before. I think the 'he' is you." I answered shakily but Natsu was there to comfort me.

"Are you sure it's me...? I mean, who would like a dragon like me anyways. Humans hate our kind-" I didn't let him finish.

"Woah, woah, woah hold on a second! You think that I don't like you? Of course I do! I can tell that on the inside, your just another soul looking for somewhere or someone to call home. Your just like me! But you already have a home, and that's with me. So don't think people don't love you, cause some of us do." I told him hugging his neck, not blushing this time.
