Shadamy the village vampire part 10

(Amy POV)
It was morning and I started waking up, of course my aunt is already awake making breakfast for the both of us. I got up and got dress for a new day. I put on something different then my red dress that I always wear, I had a pink shirt with a flower on it, a white skirt and my red hair band. I then walk out of my room and down to the kitchen there I saw my aunt almost done cooking our breakfast "good morning Amy how did you sleep?" She smile at me. I didn't tell her about my new friend who only visits me at night in my room and I kinda felt guilty about it. I just smile back at her "good" I sat down at the breakfast table and was about to tell my aunt something but got interrupted by a knock at the front door. I got up and told her "I got it" when I opened the door, much to my surprise it was shadow.

(Shadow POV)
When Amy opened the door she was surprised to see me "good morning rose how are you?" I ask her. She was still surprise "Shadow what are you doing here?" She ask me, looks like she forgot. I laughed a little "looks like my rose forgot, remember I told you that theirs a spell book in my library that allows me to walk in the sun for a day." Amy then remembers "oh yeah I'm sorry, you also said so we can spend the day together." 😅 she's so cute when like this but even more cute when she's mad and also happy, seeing her smile puts my mind at ease. "Amy dear who's at the door" her aunt was asking her from the kitchen, "oh right I'm sorry come on in shadow I'll introduce you" Amy let me in her aunt's house "Thank you" I saw her aunt in the kitchen getting the plates. I rush over to help her "here let me" I grab the plates and put one on each end of the table "oh thank you dear" she was asking for my name. I was kinda rude "oh my apologies I'm shadow one of Amy's friends" I bow to her in respect as to not frighten her. When I put my head up I see her smiling with tears of joy.

(Amy POV)
When I saw my aunt crying I started panicking "oh no aunt Ellen are you ok?" I was worried their for a minute. My aunt wiped away her tears as best as she could "yes dear dint worry about me I'm just so very happy you made another new friend and a boy no matter" now that got me blushing really red. Shadow just stood there for a second then chuckled "yes we became very close indeed" 😊. I was still blushing and shadow stop chuckling "I thank you from the bottom of my heart for my lovely rose Amy for being here today, if she had never been here I would be bored and lonely" Shadow made me blush even more but I'm happy to see my aunt happy. Anyway we ate our breakfast and got ready to leave "You two have fun on your date" my aunt said with a smile. Shadow replied "don't worry We'll will and she's in very good hands" and with that we left off to the town square for our date.

(At the town square) (still Amy POV)

Me and shadow first did a little window shopping just mostly looking and not really buying anything but their was this one thing that I was interested in buying but I didn't. After an hour we stop at a Cafe called lè Cafe we ordered what we wanted and sat down at a nice small table while we waited for our order. While we waited we ask each other questions I went first " how old are you?" Shadow replied with a question? "How old do you think I am?" I guess he wanted me to guess before he gave me an answer 🤔 "hmm ten thousand years old?" I ask. Shadow laugh and shacked his head "nope I'm 2,150 years old so in mortal years I'm 21 years old" I should've known. Next question "what's your favorite color"? He thought about it for a second "well I don't really have a favorite color but I do like the color red" Shadow said. My next question is "what are your likes and dislikes?" Shadow answers with his likes first "you I like" I laughed then he continues "let's see I also like your aunt she's very nice and she makes you blush and reading, and for my dislikes the sun although it can't really kill me because I'm a special type of vampire and blood that taste disgusting other then that I happen to like blood, I wonder what you would takes like"? His eyes glow red that got me scared a bit but shook my head out of it and snapped my fingers to get his attention back.

Shadow came back to Reality "sorry about that my rose I would never drink your blood not even if you ask me to" he had a sad face 😔, "that's ok shadow" I smiled now I should changed the topic, And finally my last question "what's your family like?" Shadow got a little surprise but was silent for a few minutes looking down out the window. I Realize that he probably didn't like talking about his family "I'm sorry you don't have to tell me, that was rude of me forgive me"? He look back at me put his hand up and wave them "no no, you don't need to apologize its just... Complicated, my parents were king and queen of the vampires they were pureblood's, I had a sister named Maria and a uncle who I Despise because I know he wants the throne." Shadow said. (*So he must be a pureblood vampire too, I wonder why his uncle wants the throne*), then that got me thinking and a few seconds later "wait since your parents are Royalty dose that me you are the prince of vampires?" He chuckled "yes I'm the prince of the vampires" Shadow answered my question again.

Now I'm really surprised "if your the prince of the vampires shouldn't you be doing your princely duties or something instead of having a date with me?" I ask. He did a small sigh and replied "yes as much as I hate doing them I have too but I don't have any for the moment but I know I'll have some to do when I get back to my castle and my Attendee will be super mad at me but he's a very nice guy". Shadow almost sounded like he was nervous to go back to his castle but I wanted to ask him one more question before our order got to our small table "Hey shadow? What's your attendee like? what's his name? Is he a vampire like you?" Well that's more like three question but asking about that one person.

Shadow smile again and told me "well his name is Andrew and he's very nice but can be very strict about me doing my work". 😅
Shadow stop talking for a moment and looked out side the window.

(Shadow POV)

I stop talking and looked out the window because I can feel something was off but it was gone when I saw my spy hidden on the roof top running after something (*hmm*). Amy caught back my attention again "Shadow? Is something wrong?" She ask me, I don't want her to worry or get scared so I lied "no nothings wrong" as much as I hate to lie to Amy I do it for her sake.

I had to answer that last part of her last question "yes and no he's a half vampire and half mortal, it's what we call a Dampier". And with that our food and drinks arrive at our table. It kinda felt like hours of talking but it was only 7 minutes. Amy got orange juice and a turkey sandwich, and I got coffee and pudding 🍮 if I didn't like it Amy said she'll eat it but we ended up sharing it together.

(Amy POV)

After we finished shadow paid for the meal and we left to go explore some more around town then we bump into my new friends, "hello everyone this is my new friend shadow" everyone said hello. It looks like everyone is getting along "so what have you all been doing lately?" I ask them sonic answer first "been running around, new places and such". "I've been working on my inventions" tails replied. "Steeling jewelry" said rouge, "we've been doing detected work" espio said. "Amy cream and I have been hanging out and mighty and his little brother Ray been busy as well" sally replied.

(Shadow POV)

It's nice to see Amy look so happy if only I could make her happy. While Amy was talking to her friends I saw the blue hedgehog name sonic looking at me weirdly. So I ask him "something wrong blue hedgehog?" Sonic shook his head "no nothings wrong but Amy said your new here, so I'm wondering where you came from". I'm certainly not going to tell him and the rest of Amy's friends that I'm a vampire so I told him a lie "I'm from a small village when I was small I wanted to travel so here I am" (well except for wanting to travel from when I was small that was something that I wanted to do.)

(No POV)

Sonic thought for a while, he was still suspicious about shadow so decided to buy that and do some research later. As time has passed it was getting dark and a bit chilly and everyone said their goodbyes. Shadow gave Amy a blanket to keep her warm "burr thank you shadow" Amy said, Shadow smiled "your welcome". Shadow and Amy went back to her aunts house to drop off Amy, before Amy went in the house shadow pulled out a necklace that Amy was eyeing at during their shopping time. Shadow put the necklace on Amy "Thank you shadow it's beautiful, next time I'll get you something". Shadow chuckled "you dint have to do that I like making you happy" and with that Shadow kiss Amy on her forehead saying goodnight to each other. Then shadow went back home as Amy went inside to have dinner and sleep.
