Win was pacing back and forth in his father's home office before his father finally walked in. Khao was sitting down in front of his father's desk. "Good to see you son. I'm glad you are not sick like you told your teacher yesterday." Wins dad said as he sat down at his desk. "Dad! Did the inspector call you?! He has proof that in was Big Boss's son, Bright that killed Nani!" Win yelled as he stood next to his father. Khao then stood up and leaned on the desk before asking, "Is this the man you want your son to marry?!"
Wins dad got up and looked out the window before responding, "I am aware of it. I just didn't know that the inspector would call you. I specifically told him not to. To only keep me updated on Nani's case." Win was shocked by his father's response. Khao walked over to his dad and asked, "You knew?! How could you dad? Who would marry the man that murdered the love of their life?!" Their father turned around and faced Win before responding, "Because I know who killed Nani and it wasn't Bright. He doesn't like murder. He's an arsonist." Both Khao and Win gasped out of shock.

"You've known?! But didn't tell me?!" Win yelled while his eyes filled up with tears. Khao ran over to Win to hold his hand to try and calm him down. "Son. Calm down and listen." Their father instructed. Khao then pulled Win over to the seats in front of their dad's desk and they both sat down. Their dad began to explain that Nani's dad was also in a similar situation like him. He was about to loose his business. Nani's dad went to Big Boss to ask for help. The Big Boss offered his help in exchange for something but Wins dad didn't know what it was. When Nani's dad couldn't come up with his end of the bargain, Big Boss had one of his snipers kill his son, Nani.
Win looked like someone just hit him with a dump truck. He was exhausted from the past 48 hours. "I only know this because when Big Boss came to our home, his guard recognized our home. Big Boss then realized he'd have to explain it all to me before we could agree on this arranged marriage. He warned me that the police would try to pin the murder on his own son because the sniper was driving one of Brights cars." Their dad said before he sat down accross from them on his desk chair.
"So, you see...we tried to keep this from you but it looks like the inspector may have a crush on you and was a bit eager to tell you what he thought was good news. Instead, it's done nothing but complicate how you view our agreement." Their dad concluded. Khao then sat back in his chair before saying, "How do we know what Big Boss said is true? Because, he could have just lied to get what he wants." There was a bit of silence as Win looked up at his dad before he finally responded, "We'll, let's see what the inspector found. In the meantime, Win will report to their home on Monday. If I find out otherwise then I will discuss this with Big Boss. Besides, we have time to find out the truth. Their engagement is for a year. They want Win to be graduated from college before they get married."
Win stood up and walked out of the office. Khao followed him. When Win reached his car, he heard from behind him, "Win! Wait!" It was Khao desperately trying to catch up to him but Win didn't want to talk anymore. He got in his car and took off. Khao knew that Win was angry again and that most likely he was gonna confront the Big Boss. Win just kept driving and driving until he reached his high school. He parked and began to cry.
