Part 5. Expectations

Bright got into the SUV with his father in the back seat. He tried not to come off as nervous but he was panicking. "Mike said, I owe you for your work just now." Big Boss said. Bright looked confused but he kept looking down at his feet. "Mike said, he discovered that the lawyers were stealing money from me. Since I have been busy lately, you and Mike stepped up for me." Big Boss continued. Bright just nodded. "I'm glad that you're taking more of an interest now but I am still weary of your quick response. I didn't think you would care or even take orders from Mike." Big Boss said.

Bright is still looking at his feet as he said, "Your money will be my money one day. No one messes with my money." Big Boss remained silent and Brights heart began to thump louder. Bright wondered if his father believed him. "Good to hear. Well, now all that's left is Gulf. Where is he? Because I went to the warehouse and he wasn't there." Big Boss asked. Bright new that if he told his dad that Gulf was with Win, that he would be angry and demand we turn Gulf over to him.

"He's with my guards. At my office red room." Bright said. Brights, red room is a torture room within his office that is sound proof. His father used to use it to interrogate employees. "Good. Because when we got a call from Gulf from an unknown number to assure his dad of his safety, he sounded unbothered." Big Boss said. Bright still looking down said, "Gulf is surprisingly more stubborn than his older brothers."

Big Boss laughed really loud it made Bright jump a bit before the car stopped. The door opened and it was a guard. He pulled Bright out of the car and then Big Boss said, "You can get back to your office from here. I've got other things to attend to." Bright agreed and the door was closed before they took off. Bright hailed for a cab and had it drop him off at the hotel where Win is.

Win heard a knock at the door so he got up to see if it's Bright. When he opened the door, Bright hugged him right away. "We're you followed?" Win asked. Bright shook his head in disagreement while still holding on to Win. "What happened? You okay?" Win asked. Bright then pulled away to kiss Win before he said, "I almost got caught doing something stupid. I'll explain later. For now, I need you." Bright then kissed Win again.

Win pushed Bright off and said, "Gulf just fell asleep. I need to keep guard in case he tries to escape." Bright chuckled and said, "What do I pay Max for? He can sit in Gulf's room for the night." Win smiled and Bright turned around to open the door. Max walked in and bowed. He headed straight into Gulf's room. Win chuckled and said, "I see you planned this all out, huh?" Bright smiled his mischievous smile.
