Miranda's pov

I put it in a ziploc bag and seal it tight. I don't want it to get wet. I swim to our amazing home and Jason was fishing. He smiles when he sees me. "You scared the fish away." He jokes. "Walter left me 700,000 dollars." I whisper shakily hugging him. His jaw drops in shock. "You're shittin' me babe!" I shake my head, trying not to cry. "I.... I know we're gonna be okay now." I say, laying my head on his shoulder. "We can h-hire a l-lawyer. Clear your name so you can work on your music." He's shaking. "We can also finish the house quicker." I cant help but smile. "Being in a cave we won't be able to tap into the power grid but we can use water power, heck maybe even get a solar panel or two and set them outside." I shakily say, missing Walter so much. "I don't want other people knowing about this place is the only problem." I mumble a little worried. "It's alright. I have a friend who owns a construction company. He'll know a thing or two about setting that stuff up." He kisses my forehead. "I love you." I say. "I love you too."

*a few weeks later*

We got a bank account and used the money to fix up this old place. It looks amazing. I found an old trunk. "I wonder who used to live here." I mumble, opening it. "I wonder how they lived in here. If they did something similar that we're doing." Jason laughs softly. "Chances are there wasn't as much water as there is now so it was easier to access back then but this place looked like it had been abandoned for 100s of years. They probably only had candles or something for light." Jason says, hugging me. There was a bunch of really old photos albums. The pictures were really hard to make out. "It's definitely been a long time since anyone has lived here." Jason went to the kitchen to work on dinner. He's gonna fix some deer stew. I love living off the grid. Nobody telling us what to do or having us pay outrageous bills. We're free.

*a few months later*

Jason has his first gig at a nearby bar. He's super nervous. "Babe I know you're gonna do awesone. You're a talented musician and they will love you!" He hugs me. "You're the best thing that's ever happened to me." He whispers into my shoulder. My poor Jason. "And now give it up for Nashville newcomer, Jason Aldean!" The announcer says. "Wish me luck." My sweet man says. "You don't need luck when you have talent!" I say, kissing him. He smiles and walks onstage. "Hey everybody! It's great to be here!" He says, waving to the crowd. "I think we'll go a little old school. Who's ever heard George Strait!" The crowd cheers. "She was leanin' on a rail in a cotton dress, a pretty little perfect mess, with a story that could only be anybody's guess. I was thinkin' that I probably didn't stand a chance but I rolled up my sleeves, walked over and said, I know I don't know ya but I'd kinda like a shot! She said I saw ya walkin' over, I already thought it over and okay so now what? And I said well I got a car she said, there's something. At least it's a start, I said it's better than nothin'. She said now where do you think all this is goin' and I said there ain't no way of knowin', I guess I hadn't thought it through that far! But I got a car!" This song sorta makes me think of us. We met by chance. I ran away with him. I'm so happy to be with him. The crowd was cheering and singing along. They love him just like I told him they would. He looked so happy. As soon as his set was over, I ran onto the small wooden stage and hugged him so tightly. "You're amazing!" I cry happily kissing him. The crowd cheered again, making me laugh. He stands up and sets his guitar down. The announcer says, "Jason Aldean everybody!! Isn't he a star!!" He holds my hands. "Baby I love you so danged much. You think I saved you but truthfully you saved me! I wouldn't be able to do any of this without you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you!" He hugs me tightly then to my shock, he drops to one knee and shakily pulls a ring out of his pocket. I stare at him shocked. "Miranda, will you marry me!" I nod through my tears and hug him tight. "Yes." I whimper as the crowd in front of us cheers. I can't believe we're getting married!!
