10 years later...

The arena in Land of Dawn is already packed with audiences coming from different parts of the continent. A lot of food and merchandise stalls surrounded the arena as well as the bustle of crowds continue to increase as time ticks by.

It is a good thing that after the war against the Black Dragon, Princess Odette and Princess Silvanna joined forces to turn the arena into its previous purpose—a battlefield for competitive warriors who aim to be hailed as the greatest warriors of the year.

It has been a while since a game is held in the arena because of the consecutive huge wars that happened. But with the Black Dragon finally sealed for good, everything goes back to normal.

“Ling!” Wanwan comes running towards the assassin and did not hesitate to jump off just to get on his back. “Your Cosmo Guard getup is awesome. It makes you look like you are in your 20s.”

Looking at the sides, he comments, “Stop talking about age because first and foremost, I do not want to hear it from someone who got controlled by a dragon.”

Wanwan wraps her arms around him and nuzzles her forehead at the back of his head. “You are not making sense at all but if you are talking about that incident, don't forget that it took all of your strength to defeat me. By the way, you should refrain from dying your hair too often. You'll go bald.”

“Shut it.”

As the two continue to bicker at each other, the other members of the Oriental Fighters join them. Since they among the contestants who will be fighting that day, they all entered the arena to get ready.

On the other side of the arena, the SABER squad appears and goes to their designated seat. Just by their presence, their fans cheer and squeal as they raise their pompoms all together. They are led by the cheerleaders clad with crop tops and short skirts having the same color scheme as the SABER squad's combat apparel.

“Our SABERians are indeed the most supportive people out here,” Layla states while waving at their fans.

“SABERians sounds like Siberian.” That is only the side comment that Cyclops could say because he is just reminded of that Siberian husky that once ran after him for hours.

As they enjoy the warm welcome of their fans, a louder scream and chant overpowers the SABERians. Layla looks on their side and she can only click her tongue and glare at the squad entering with their white and gold combat apparels.

“Those glitters are really a sore in the eyes,” Layla hisses.

Her attention shifts to the aerial bleachers where the fans of the Lightborn squad are. Just like the SABERians, cheerleaders are the one leading the others. But what annoys Layla even more is the mascots that are getting the attention of the other audience.

The Lightborn squad is as formal as usual so they simply nod their head towards their fans to acknowledge their presence before they get seated on their designated area. Harith suddenly gets this feeling that someone os definitely staring at them intently so he looks around and sees Cyclops and Layla glaring at their direction.

Seeing their annoyed faces makes him wear a smug expression, smirking at them and after a while, he closes his fist and shows them a thumbs down. He even sticks out his tongue to annoy them even more.

Alucard, who is just seated behind the mage, notices what Harith is doing.

He whacks his head and says, “You're already an adult. Stop acting childish.”

Harith holds the back of his head and looks behind him. “Stop being an old-fashioned old man, old man.”

Feeling like an argument is brewing, Tigreal immediately hushes them.
