"Why you little... I'm going to kill you?!" Luo Yi is enraged at Wanwan.

She is able to separate herself from the rest of her group so she could easily defeat them one by one, however, it is just hard to hit Wanwan with her magic. The little tigress is agile and stealthy—the moment you think she is hit, she'd be at the side snickering at how you missed her.

"Good luck doing that, old hag!" Wanwan teases as she jumps from one place to another. She releases her poisoned needles and somehow, Luo Yi manages to deflect them with her magic.

As they fight, the necklace that Wanwan found on their way to the Forbidden Soul temple starts to respond with the magic of Luo Yi. Wanwan is not aware of it that she continues to provoke the mage. The necklace starts to glow in dark purple color. The glow begins at the middle of the necklace and it slowly traces its octagonal shape until the whole pendant is reeking of magic.

Luo Yi senses it and even questions herself why is it familiar? She takes a step back and tries to interrogate the marksman.

"Could it be that you're a mage?" she asks with scrutinizing eyes.

Wanwan pretends to vomit at the obvious wrong conclusion of the mage. She even sticks out her tongue at her and makes a funny face.

"No way! Marksmen are way better than mages," she replies.

Luo Yi is, then, convinced that the woman she is fighting is in no way a mage like her. Thus, she focuses on identifying the reason why there is magic reeking from her.

"I'm here... I'm here..."

Luo Yi hears a hoarse voice though it sounds so distant. She has this instinct that the voice is calling out to her and that she needs to know where it is coming from. However, with her mind preoccupied, Wanwan finds an opening and she charges forward. Raising herself off the ground, she focuses her strength on her foot and lands a powerful kick right at the abdomen of the mage. She didn't let her recover, of course. Positioning her arm parallel to the ground, she releases her needles and shot them right at Luo Yi.

"Trap this girl in your yang magic... Trap her... Trap her..."

The voice keeps ringing inside Luo Yi's head and she is given no choice but to follow what he demands. As she starts to feel numb, she snaps her fingers and her yang magic surrounds Wanwan who is walking towards her so she could deliver the last blow but she gets trapped in the magic of her opponent. She has a hard time moving away from her usual spot, however, her body starts to freeze in place as the necklace devours the dark magic from Luo Yi.

The necklace breaks into pieces and black smoke emerges from it. Wanwan has no idea what it is but her instinct tells her that it is no good. She wants to stay away from it but her body is as heavy as lead.

The black smoke surrounds her as it continues to absorb the yang energy around the premises.

"Free at last!" the voice claims. It is so strong that it resounds throughout the mountains.

Luo Yi comes to realize that the voice is actually the missing part of Yu Zhong which they came to unseal at the temple. As Yu Zhong is not present at the moment, the spirit of the Black Dragon needs a temporary body he could use. And since Wanwan has a weaker power, it could dominate her and make her body his.

With the current situation that Wanwan can no longer fight on her own, she has no choice but to call out for help before something bigger happens.

"L-Ling, help!" she shouts on top of her lungs.

Her comrades hear her shriek that Ling, out of shock and worry, immediately turns his back on Luo Yi's army and heads into the woods where Wanwan's voice came from. Baxia transforms himself into a metal boulder and rolls over the army, giving some time for Diggie to leave and follow Ling.
