Chapter 36

"Too many unfamiliar faces," Luo Yi states as she scans every warrior upfront.

However, it is no problem for her even though there are quite a lot of seemingly strong opponents. The Black Dragon has finally taken form is on a rampage—taking revenge for all the sufferings they had gone through the years.

With one swift wave of her hand, everyone is surrounded by her yin power. It slows down everyone's movement. But well, except for Luxanna (aka Lux), who excels in magic as well. She jumps off the ground and emerges from the crowd.

"Light binding!"

With only her words, her enemies that are within her 50 meters radius are all rooted to the ground, including Luo Yi. Without sparing a second for them to counterattack, she lands on both feet and pointed two fingers at them—as if her hand was that of a gun.

"Final Spark!"

With her second spell, those who are touched by the blinding light vanish in thin air, taking away half of Luo Yi's army. However, Luo Yi is able to teleport herself into the yin circle she just activated a few moments ago.

She must admit that the blonde is a skilled mage but it did not stop her from showing her skills as well.

"Dispersion!"

Before the warriors surrounding her could react and attack her, they are sent flying away from her. The next second, she appears right back where she originally stood.

Still confused at how her magic works, Lux is not able to react fast enough when she is attacked by someone else besides Luo Yi.

Long yet thin needles are shot over her neck and shoulders. Before she could even take them off, faint black smokes appear and push the needles deeper.

Princess Odette points her staff right in the direction of Luo Yi and Wanwan and releases a strong surge of energy in the form of a swan. Though the two are able to dodge it, the attack manages to make them keep their distance from them.

Ezreal runs towards Lux and catches her in his arms before she could fall to the ground. The poison in the needles starts to seep into her flesh and sucks away her magic little by little.

"Treat her right away before the poison kills her," Princess Odette states.

She knows too well how fatal the poison is, especially that it came from Wanwan who possesses the most dangerous poison.

To buy them some time, Sett jumps off from the ground and targets Luo Yi. With his clenched fist, he jabs it right at the mage. However, Luo Yi vanishes and appears far from him. This results in Sett hitting the ground as well. In the first seconds, it seems like nothing happened. But then, the ground shook and a meter of crater appeared with the ground broken around it.

Princess Odette stands beside him and they fight side by side against Luo Yi and the still possessed Wanwan.

Meanwhile, Layla almost choked out her heart when she barely dodged the Higanbana. If she had not ducked, her head might now be rolling on the ground squirting some bloody liquid. When she turns her head behind, her eyes widen when Rakshesha is coming close at a fast speed.

"Who the hell is that scary woman?!" she yells.

Johnson did not reply. He accelerates and suddenly made a quick right turn without informing Layla.

His sudden shift pulls Layla's body to the side yet her upper body is a bit left behind. Not only did it make her dizzy but for a second, she thinks that her upper body is going to be separated from her lower half.
