Eliza walked into the mall acompanied by her best friend. They were laughing about something Eliza said earlier.
"I mean, why would anyone even buy that?" Eliza asked and her friend Jessixa shrugged her shoulders.
Eliza were smiling. Something she hadn't done in a long time, something she hadn't done since the accident.
Even though Eliza was smiling right now, everyone could see that the smile didn't reach her eyes. Her eyes didn't sparkle the way they used to.
Everyone kept telling her that it wasn't her fault, that there were nothing she could have done to prevent what happened, but no matter what she didn't beilieve it, not one bit.
The screams, the blood, the masked men, sure there must be something she could have done.
That accident changed her life forever, and there was no going back now.
