It's Christmas, meaning Pepper has to go to Christmas dinner with her family. This Christmas is different because this year, she has Tony. Her parents and siblings (who were all married with at least two kids each) have been pressuring her to at least get a boyfriend for years now. She never did because not only was she crushing on Tony and had been ever since she started to see who he really was, but also she had been focusing on her job which is Tony.

It also never helped that she pretty much has never had a social life. All through grade school she had never socialized very much, always preferring a book, then in collage she was more focused on her studies than attending parties. Then all the years she worked for Tony, he always needed her for something. Her job was practically twenty-four/seven.

So this holiday, she was taking Tony back to her childhood home for Christmas dinner. She's not going to lie and say that she's not nervous because she is. Tony can have any woman he wants so when he sees how awful her family is, why would he want to stay with her?

As Tony and Pepper walk up the walkway to the door she starts internally panicking. However, she knew not to make a sound. The second an unusual sound comes from her Tony will be all over her, trying to figure what's going on with her. Which don't get her wrong, she likes Tony worrying over her for once, but she can't have him freaking out as they walk into her childhood home.

Pepper knocks on the door and nervously intertwines her arm with Tony's as they stand waiting for the door to open. Soon the door is opened by her sister. Who is apparently pregnant (again)... which she was never told of (again).

"Hi, Ginny," Melody, her sister, opens her arms for Pepper to hug her. Pepper first hands the Jello dish she was holding, to Tony, then hugs her careful of the baby bump her sister is sporting.

"Hi, Mel. Tony, this is my sister, Melody. Mel, this my boyfriend, Tony," Pepper introduces.

"Hi," Tony awkwardly waves.

"Come in, come in," Melody stands out of the way for the couple to walk in the house.

"So, Mel, how far along are you?" Pepper takes the dish she handed to Tony back and puts it on the dessert table.

"I'm about twenty-nine weeks."

"How come you didn't tell me, Pep?" Tony mumbles into her ear.

"I didn't even know myself," she mutters.

"Mom, everyone, Ginny's here and she brought a boyfriend," Melody yells as she walks back into the living room.

Soon, Pepper's fifteen year old niece comes into the kitchen to get a plate of cookies. And oh, great, she's pregnant.

"Hey, Aunt Ginny," Penny, the niece, greets not even looking up from cookies, not noticing Tony either.

"Hi, honey," Pepper responds, cringing at her pregnant niece, who is picking out the hugest, most frosting covered cookies. Pepper looks over at Tony to see him cringing as well. "Honey, how far along are you?" Pepper awkwardly asks.

"Twenty-five weeks, why? Do I look fat?" Penny panics.

"No, no, you just look like your Aunt Melody that's all."

"Ok," Penny walks out of the room, not even noticing Tony.

"She didn't even notice me, Pep," Tony looks to Pepper to see her fighting her jello. "Do you want help with that?"

"Yes, I oiled the dish like the instructions said to: I don't know why it won't come out."

"Here, give it to me. Also, your the youngest of your siblings, right?"
