Pepper's Bad Period

This is a period one shot...im not gonna go into detail abt the blood. just the cramps and what not, ok. ok.

Today was the first day of Pepper's period. She hasn't had cramps this bad since she was a teenager.  It was almost quitting time so she left a little early, she's CEO after all, she can do whatever she wants. Pepper drives back to the mansion. She and Tony have been dating for almost a year now. The best eleven and a half months of her life if she's being honest. They had moved her in after five months.

As soon as she gets inside, she tries to find Tony. He's not anywhere so she goes down to the workshop. Yes, this should have been a first thought, but she's not thinking right. She walks down the stairs and punches in her code. Pepper is almost in tears at this point. The door opens and Tony looks up.

"What's wrong, honey?" Tony asks, looking at her. He gets up and wraps her up in his arms.

"Cramps. Really bad. Haven't had them these bad since I was thirteen," Pepper breaks down crying in Tony's arms.

"Aw, honey, did you take any aspirin?"

"Y-Yes."

"Ok, darling, lets go upstairs and cuddle if you want," Tony looks down at Pepper as she nods into his shoulder, "J, save everything and shut down," Tony gently moves so he has one arm around her so they can walk. He takes her upstairs and leads her to their room. When they get up there, he lies her down and goes into the bathroom so he can grab a heat pad and some water for her, "Darling, could you sit up so I can put the heat pad under you?" (A/N: yes, that is how I use heat pads when I am on my period)

Pepper sits up so Tony can put the heat pad on the bed. She lies back down as Tony lays down next to her. As soon as they are both settled on the bed he rolls so he is on his side, facing her. He puts his hand on her stomach and starts to gently rub. Pepper practically melts under the touch because of how good it feels. He moves closer to her and wraps his free arm around her, gently pulling her closer. Pepper hugs him. 

"Do you like this, honey?" Tony softly asks.

"Yes. T-This feels g-good." Pepper is still slightly crying but has calmed down a lot. She puts her face in the crook of Tony's neck.

"Ok, I'll keep it up, darling." Tony has always been one for nicknames, but as soon as they started dating, he started going crazy giving her nicknames like 'lovey', 'darling', 'honey' and things like that.

Pepper eventually falls asleep. The rubbing sensation helps soothe the cramps. As soon as Pepper falls asleep, he presses a kiss to his girlfriend's forehead.

Tony wakes up first and starts rubbing Pepper's stomach. Eventually Pepper wakes up and pushes her stomach up into Tony's touch. He smiles at her. Pepper lets out a little, happy, quiet moan.

"Aw, you like that, huh, lovey?" Tony softly coos.

"Yes. I love this."

"That's good, I want to make you feel better," Tony takes a break from rubbing so he can hug her. After a couple minutes he pulls away and continues his rubbing his girlfriend's stomach. She wraps her legs around his waist. "How're your cramps today, Pep?" Tony whispers to her.

"Not as bad as yesterday but still bad."

'Alright. It's thankfully Saturday, you're not working and I can stay here as long as you want me to." Tony smiles. He gives her a good morning kiss.

"Can you stay all day? I want eternal cuddles," Pepper hides her face in Tony's shoulder.

"Of course. Do you have to change your pad anytime soon?"

"I probably should, but I don't wanna get up. You're my pillow."

"Ok, let me know when you want to get up." Tony chuckles.

"Alright,' Pepper mumbles into his shoulder.

After ten minutes of cuddling, Pepper suddenly shoots up.

"Gotta pee. Gotta pee," she yells, running to the bathroom. 

"Let me know if you need me," Tony responds. Soon she comes out of the bathroom and curls back up.

"I feel worse," Pepper grumbles.

"Ok, what do you want me to do?" Tony tries to catch her eye.

"Cuddle."

"Alright, honey, as long as you want me, I'll be here."

"I want you here for forever. You're my pillow," Pepper wraps her body around Tony's again. He pulls her closer and gently rubs her back and presses kisses to her head.

"Of course I am," Tony mumbles sarcastically.

"I take offence," Pepper gasps and raises a hand upto her face in mock offence. Tony knows she's joking so he doesn't press upon it. The couple giggles together. They both enjoy moments like this, Tony more so than Pepper though. When he was a child he never had moments of pure joy.

Before Pepper, Tony seldom felt loved. Even during her PA years, she still found ways to make him feel appreciated, but now that they are romantically involved she makes him feel loved everyday, even when she feels crappy. To make matters better sometimes she doesn't even know she's making him feel loved, like right now for example, she has her whole body wrapped around him, using him as her pillow. She gives him love and attention and that's more than he could ever dream of getting.

"Tony? Tony? You ok?" Pepper's concerned voice breaks through his inner monolog, bringing him back to reality.

"What?" He asks, slightly breathless.

"I asked if you were ok, you kinda zoned."

"I'm fine, Pepps. How's your stomach?" Tony asks. He wants his girlfriend to be in her best condition, because he wants her to always be comfortable and healthy. He loves her wants her be around for a long time so he can love on her.

Pepper scrunches up her nose in what Tony thinks is the most adorable thing he has ever seen, "Worse after I peed."

"Well, just tell me what I can do for you. Also, is it as bad as yesterday? I feel really bad that you came to me almost in tears then as soon as I started holding you, you started crying," Tony gently strokes her hair.

"Not by much but yes, a bit better than yesterday."

"That's great, do you want aspirin or something?" Tony looks her in the eye.

"N-No, I took one in the bathroom after I peed."

"Ok, that's fine."

"Can we just cuddle?"

"Of course, darling," Tony smiles, softly at Pepper. She curls up into him as he wraps his arms around her.

"T-Thank you, Tony, really, thank you," Pepper thanks him.

"You don't need to thank me, hon, I swear it's fine." Tony smiles down at his girlfriend.

"I love you."

"I love you too, Pepps," Tony runs his hands over her back and stomach. She melts under his skilled hands. She moans quietly.

Pepper loves the feeling of Tony's skilled hands. She loves watching him tinker with his cars and mechanical things. She loves feeling him run his hands over her body. Those fingers are so talented. They're calloused but soft and gentle. Especially with her. Whenever he touches her, he uses a gentle touch. Always making sure he doesn't hurt her.

By the time her period is over, he has proclaimed his love for her so many times and she has returned his affections with gentle kisses and whispered claims of love.
