What happens when you get all the Avengers together, Rouge, Non-Rouge, New, and Old?

Well, I'll tell you. Chaos, that's what. Especially because we have a newly paralyzed Rhodey (AKA very, very protective), an overprotective CEO (add fiancée to the list of things Pepper is to Tony), and an angry spider-baby. Also its only been six months since Civil War as the media has dubbed it.

Said spider-baby never gets angry, like ever. For most teenagers you can say that they are growing away from their parents, but the same can not be said for Peter. In fact, he's growing closer to them by the day. His feeling on the matter is he just got them, he's not growing away anytime soon. He loves them, and they love him. In his world it's perfect.

Tony is all stressed out at seeing Steve (Ugh, I hate him....no offence) for the first time since Siberia. Pepper knows all about the events of Siberia because one night, a few days after they had gotten off their break, Tony had had a basial mental breakdown in Pepper's arms, after waking up from a nightmare, he had spilled his guts about the events that took place. To Pepper's credit, she was amazing with this. She let him tell her everything that had happened, gently prodding him when there were details that he was holding back, all while making sure that he was comfortable, soothing him with her presence and soft words. Pepper has to restrain herself from going up to the super-soldier and punching him over and over. For all the pain that he has caused Tony, from taking Howard away from Tony, being Howard's favorite, making Tony not feel loved by his own father, to using the shield that Howard had made to break Tony's Arc Reactor, while leaving him with said broken reactor and suit in a freezing cave, with no way to call for help as FRIDAY was down, half-dead. Tony keeps one hand on Pepper, who's sitting in the middle of Tony and Peter, so the woman keeps a hand on Tony and the other on Peter.

"So, who's the kid?" Bucky asks.

"My-the kid is-" Tony responds but Peter interrupts.

"I'm Mr. Stark's Intern." He responds, actually being a good lyer for once. The couple sitting next to him looks over at him and smiles. Tony even gave him a real, genuine smile.

"Really, Stark? A twelve year old as an intern?" Steve asks.

"I'm fifteen!"

"It's not illegal to give a kid a opportunity to expand his knowledge and help him decide what he wants to do in college. The kid's knowledge rivals mine and Banner's put together."

"Is he at least a good mentor?" Steve questions.

"Of course he is!"

"But, he's alcoholic!"

"He hasn't touched alcohol in six months. Because he wanted to be a better mentor for me than he could be if he was still drinking-"

"Is he neglectful towards you and Pepper?"

"Of course not! Besides he invited you and your team of fugitives to his tower for Thanksgiving-"

"Pete, kid, calm down. I can handle it."

"But...He's insulting you." Tony gets up and gently takes his hand out of Pepper's , as to not hurt her. He kneels in front of Peter.

"Bambino, kid, calm down," he says, gently grabbing the kid's head, putting it on his chest, just above the reactor (It always helps calms the teen), "Pep and I can handle it." Tony's actions show his true trust for Peter because ever since the Stane incident he only allows Pepper, Rhodey, Happy, and now Peter to touch it, especially after Siberia.
