☀ ~ The Elephant in the Freaking Room

Warning: this chapter will mention death/death threats so if you aren't into stuff like that, I suggest you skip. This chapter will also talk about Olivia Rodrigo in a slightly negative sense. Don't be an asshole and send her hate because you missed the entire point of the chapter. Any Livies out there reading this: if you don't do these things I'm mentioning here, you ain't the problem. Thank you.

Yeah, if you read my intro chapter, y'all would know that I said that I wouldn't talk about any actors on the show in terms of my unpopular opinions. But as you can see from the title, this isn't an unpopular opinion rather than it being a random thought. So technically, I lied but technically I didn't. So let's chat because let's be serious, I'm fed up with some people. I'm not going to sugar coat anything and if I get attacked for it, so be it. This is gonna be a long one so as Wendy Williams says, "get a snack and come on back."

A good chunk of Olivia's [Rodrigo not Rose Keegan] stans don't deserve having social media platforms. Plus I do believe Liv's in the wrong for letting her fans get away with half of the things that they say and do when it comes to the following people: Joshua, Sabrina, and anyone and everyone who's calling her out on some things. Like I used to adore Olivia and she was literally my inspiration to become an actress because I was in awe of the way she performed. I still am in awe of it. But ever since, like August of 2020, my love for her has slowly but surely diminished. 

So, um on a serious note, I had a fan account a long time ago on insta. If you're wondering, it's disabled because I no longer post edits (I still make them though). The main people I tended to edit was Liv, Josh, Sabrina, and Sofia [Wylie]. Now I had a lot of Josh, Liv, Jolivia, Jabrina, HSMTMTS (mainly Rinis and RJs), Girl Meets World, JATP, and Sabrina fans following me. But of course, with the following of fans also came the following of haters. 

Because of all of the shit Josh was getting into last year, many people were harassing me due to me editing him (I don't blame them, the edits were trash). One person commented something along the lines of: "Love this edit. But Josh ew," on my edit, even though he was the main person in it. 

But I'm getting off track because a hate account one day decided it would be nice to send a death threat to me. Why? I'll never know. But ever since that day, I have had much more of a soft spot for Josh and Brina because of the fact that this is an everyday thing for them. I know people (people I was following at the time by the way) who didn't like Sabrina because they were obsessed with Josh. So they DM'ed her claiming that her "boyfriend" got them pregnant, which was disgusting. I literally couldn't believe it. 

Most haters were grossed out last year when Josh and Sab just so happened to post on the same day on insta. Sab was wearing a coat with no shirt on her post and Josh was shirtless and captioned a line from Big and Chunky by Will.i.am on his (you know, the line that goes "it's all in the way she moves"). People were assuming that they had sex, which was what, at the time, drew the line for me. 

Anyways, moving on to current time, and people (mainly Livies) are still sending death threats to these two, even though one of them was so stressed about this "drama," they nearly died because of it. Excuse my french when I say this but what the everloving fuck is wrong with you? Do you feel good knowing that your comments back in January nearly killed him? If so, then what are you doing now? Like do you understand that this is someone's son? Someone's brother? Like what if someone you loved was going through this? Oh, wait, you don't think about that because you don't have (and pun seriously intended) common sense. 

This isn't a joke anymore, nor was it ever. You are pressed over an alleged-ex that's not even yours. The person he allegedly broke up with is currently in what looks like a happy relationship. If she can move on, so can you. I am a Liv fan, but I will never claim to be a Livie. Because of that, I'm gonna come out and admit this: I hate the Sour album. Why, you may ask? Well, it's her fans. Her fans are ruining her for me. Not just her music, her as a whole. This includes HSMTMTS. 

Finally, this leads to the main thing that pisses me off. Liv, I'm not telling her what to do with her life. But...people nearly died. What's it going to take for you to tell your fans to shut up? How many more death threats is it going to take for you to tell them to knock it off? Because I know for sure she probably hasn't got one so she doesn't know how it feels to know that someone wants you off of this Earth. It hurts. It does. 

And honestly, I'm not saying that Josh's near death situation is her fault. It wasn't and I'm not going to put that pressure on her. But the pressure I will put on her is the fact that one of the main causes of said near death experience is still evident around this man. People are literally waiting for you to release a new single so it can "finish the job" like what are you not seeing LIv? I know you don't condone this stuff, at least I hope you don't. But honestly, I'm not going to continue being a fan if this is what the fandom's going to be like. I'm sorry.

Sorry for this being literally everywhere. I'm not good at keeping things on the right track when it comes to rants. I know this was a long one. But it had to be said because I don't have social media anymore and none of my friends care about it. I had to say something about this.
