(T.W.: Mention of self h@rm, not being well mentally, wounds, cleaning and bandaging a wound)

It was taking a while for the sides to warm up to Thomas again and, even then, their relationship wasn't like it was before.

Patton was making the most effort to patch things up. He acted as though nothing happened so that he could try and keep Thomas happy.
Logan was certainly colder towards Thomas, but other than the necessary checks on his medication, didn't show that much of a grudge.
Roman was Thomas' hero, but even he couldn't pretend what Thomas had done was right. He still supplied idea for videos, and other things that were required, but other than that did his best to avoid his host.
Virgil just didn't talk to Thomas, at all. He knew what had happened, and the baseline was that his host had nearly killed him. He might not have meant it, but if Logan hadn't forced him off of the medication, Thomas would have continued to take it, even after knowing what they did to Virgil.

So the host never saw much of his anxious trait. Virgil much preferred to stay in the mind palace, hanging out with Roman. He was mostly alone when Roman disappeared.
This was one of those occasions.
Virgil was laying on his bed, headphones on, drawing on his tablet. His work was interrupted by a loud thud, then a distant 'Shit!' coming from the next room. That just so happened to be Roman's room.Virgil paused his music and turned off his tablet and got up to see what was going on.
He stood outside and knocked on Roman's bedroom door. "Roman, are you okay?"
"Yeah! Just fell over!" Roman called back.
"You're a terrible liar." Virgil replied. He turned the handle and opened the door, finding Roman on the floor holding his bleeding hand. The handle of his sword stuck out of the closet next to the one he was leaning against.
"Roman, what the hell happened?"
"Okay, don't get mad at me, I was just practicing with my sword when I slipped. I lost my grip and the sword cut me, that's all." Roman said, lying his ass off.
Virgil sighed. "Again, you're a terrible liar, although that was better. Come on, let's go to the bathroom, we need to clean and dress your hand." Virgil held out his hand, which Roman took with his good hand and got up.

He followed Virgil into the bathroom, where Virgil commanded him to sit on the toilet, which he did so instantly. The anxious side looked through a couple of cabinets before finding what he needed- hydrogen peroxide wipes and bandages.
"Doesn't that stuff sting?" Roman asked, eyeing the wipes.
"Yup." Virgil replied shortly, pulling on some gloves and getting one out of the packet. "But, we need to clean your wound so that it doesn't get infected."
"Why would it get in- OWW!" Roman cried out when Virgil suddenly put the wipe on his hand. "Virgil! Warn me before you do that!"
Virgil snickered. "Sorry." He began gently cleaning Roman's hand, ignoring the hisses of pain and holding the hand still due to the flinches. "It might get infected because you cut it on your sword then held it with your other hand. Do you not understand how many germs will be on those combined?"
"Fair point." Roman said, sighing in relief when Virgil was done. "That stung so badly!"
"Well, it means it's working." Virgil said. He grabbed the bandages. "I'm going to wrap these around your hand now, okay?"

Roman nodded. "Go ahead, knock yourself out."
Virgil rolled his eyes, smiling softly. He unrolled the bandage so that the pad was on the wound, and gave the short amount of bandage to Roman to hold. He wrapped the rest around Roman's hand and wrist to keep it secure. When there was just a small amount left, he took the small end he gave to Roman and tied it, then tucked it under a couple layers of bandage.
"There you go, you're all done. Tell me if blood starts to seep through, though." Virgil said, packing up.
Roman nodded. "Alright, boss man. How did you know this stuff though? It's something I'd expect Logan to know."
Virgil didn't answer, just packing up the stuff he had gotten out.
"Virgil?" Roman said. "You okay?"
The smaller male sighed. "It's not a good reason I know this stuff, I'll leave you with that. I don't want to talk about it."
Roman frowned, and after a few seconds of silence, asked he had in his had. "Is it from the time you were really bad, mentally...?"
Virgil sighed again. "Alright, fine. Yes, it is from that time. My cuts would get infected, so I asked Logan how to properly clean and wrap a wound. I played it off as just me being anxious and wanting to know in case anything ever happened."

Roman sighed. "Sorry. Shouldn't have asked..."
"It's fine." Virgil said quickly. "Can we drop this now?"
Roman nodded. "Sorry, again..."
"It's fine..."
