Markie fell to one knee just as a red beam of energy stopped flowing from the sky above him. The symbols on his body seemed to shake and rattle as cracked appeared within them; one by one, the characters burst into pieces and fell from his body.

"Congratulation, Clarrisa, you've finally broken through my mid-level protection enchantment. I didn't expect you to figure them out so quickly." Clarrisa blushed at being complemented by the one man who has created more enchantment than her entire family combined.

"No, no, it wasn't as easy as it seems; the eye of destruction was created to weaken protection spells and enchantments. All I did was add was exchange most of its destructive force with a couple of ruins of my creation. It's nothing as impressive as you may believe." The ex-king dusted off his clothing as he approached the young noble.

"What kind of ruins could you have created that could automatically break my protection line up."

"Well, I only developed it a couple of years ago; I based it off the humans hacking encryptions."

"Quite interesting I would like to see your work after practice, but for now, let begin the next step of enchantments.

Vinik dropped down into one of the many couches in a cafe inside Kie's private area within his castle. Loveday and the others weren't far behind him as they dropped like rocks onto the plush cushions.  Both Kie and lord Markie pulled their fragments back together.

"How did their training go, gramps?" The witch boy poured a glass of wine for the older man and himself and ordered some smoothies for his friends.

"It was quite insightful. The four of them have come a long way without proper training. Altear's shadow magic is beneficial. Teaching him to use his portals offensively was a brilliant idea on your part. His energy absorption has improved to the point that he can now absorb most magic that isn't light-based, although teaching him how to control his flames is a little challenging? The only problem with Vinik and Loveday is that they stick to the same variation of their manifestation. For Vinik, I taught him some helpful attack spells that are vibration-based, along with defense and boost spells. It'll help increase the level of his manifest. Though with Loveday, I'm teaching her how to improve her golems and change the shape of her barrier so she can use it offensively, though her sealing ability is top-notch. Clarrisa will soon be moving on to high-level enchantments; she has drastically passed my expectations. Then there is Mahogany. I've already moved to high-speed combat with her. There is something strange about her manifestation. It would help if you kept an eye on her. There might be a change in her powers soon." Kie nodded at his great grandfather's words. He had the same questions about her ability to. Few families can perform transmutation on the molecular level, and I'm sure moh's mother doesn't belong to any of them, but maybe her father.

"What about your trainees? How are they coming along? Markie sipped from his glass as he watched Kie drag himself out of his thoughts.

"Amber is quite skilled at the summons, but he's only mastered the kings of the zodiac. He needs to learn more summonings before he's truly able to use all the power he possesses. Damien has come a long way. He's developed his style, the black hole technic. It won't be long before he masters it.
Then there's Rita, for a long time; she hasn't been using her time spells though it seems that that hasn't affected her at all. She will soon be too powerful to fit her well, but as long as the boys keep up their training, they'll catch back up to her.  Though do suspect we need to change up our training methods." the sound of a great bell went off in the background, and only Kie knew what that meant.

"What do you have in mind, young one?"

"I apologize, old man Markie, but it would seem that the time has come for a demonstration." The white-haired witch stood from his chair and began his journey out of the room. With one motion of his hand, the others quickly realized they were supposed to follow. Kie leads the witches to a field where the rest of the black castle coven is gathered around the Heavenly Witch. She was fitted in battle gear; thick dark red leather fitted her body, her hair was pulled back in a tight bun. When the two siblings' eyes meet, a sternness passes between them. In a flash of light, Kie's outfit changed into his battle gear. In just a blink of an eye, the two siblings had teleported deeper into the field, far from where they had stood with the other Witches.
