War

After the words that came from his lovers mouth, Nick took to the skies faster than ever, he went higher and higher until he could see the entire forest. His fairies flew to him along easy knowing what he was going to do.

" Commun with the trees and find them now." The fae each held a glowing green light with in their hands.

"The south side of the forest is clear."
"The North side of the forest is clear."
"They're in the east side sir."

"Are any mystics of Blackcastle in the east side?"

"The last one was just removed by lady Mahogany."

"Good, go back and help Kie." As they all retreated to the ground the sky roared with the sound of the wild hunt they stopped at Nicks back. The one nearest him handed the Fae a bow. "I need your power, please aid me." The spirts of the wild hunt bowed to him as they disappeared and a green glow flowed over Nicks skin. Nicholas moves like lightning as he entered the woods. The Fae could feel the malice and murderous intent seeping off the creatures lying in wait. Just as the boy had made a step forward he was forced to quickly swerve out of the way of an attack. Nick quickly pulled back the string of the bow and let a arrow made of light fly out toward his attacker. Without a doubt in his mind he knew his shot hit its mark, but when he looked toward the direction The creature should be laying it was gone faster than it appeared. Quicker that before the attack had came again but this time it had seemed his attacker had multiplied. No longer was he facing one enemy but now he faced a pack of them and to a degree of surprise these where not wolves he faced but something far more terrifying in the night.

Nick was quick on his feet, instead of dodging the next attack he used his enemy to gain distance by kicking off of the creatures chest. As Nick flipped onto his feet the Fae pulled at the string of his bow, but he was caught off guard as a reptilian tail wrapped around his waist and flung him through a tree. Nick quickly dust off the attack, but as he stood there he couldn't feel the presence of his enemy. That's when it downed on him they never was going to fight him they only wanted to immobilize him so they could escape.

With a swift flick of his wrist a giant magic circle appeared above the east side of the forest with a purple glow.

"Forbidden circle: devils cap." As Nick slammed his fist down on to the forest floor, so did the circle descend upon the forest. Forcing a wall of purple stone to erupt from the ground and form a ring around the east side of the forest, trapping the shifters in with Nick. The tips of Nicks pointer and index fingers glowed as he spoke. " warriors strength, iron skin, agility boost x10, speed boost x12, night vision, sixth sense, immunity to poison, regeneration x10, heightened senses." As Nick stopped speaking tiny magic circles appeared all over his body and slowly disappeared under his skin. "A bow isn't the right weapon for this kind of battle." Nick made the bow disappear as he closed his eyes. "Athena's shield, dragon's blade come to me." The items called down appeared in the boys hands as his crescent mark started to glow.
" Now its time to hunt."

Kie rushed into the the first level of the alchemy room to find Abby already there giving orders and placing the injured wolfs in the pods.

" Abby what's the Status?" Kie asked the girl quirkily.

"You want the good new first or the bad?"

" good."

" Well everything you order to be constructed has been completed. the vampires agreed to help out with the devises on level two and the banshee weapon are in the process of being harvested and formed into weapons. We also have placed the last werewolf in a pod and the cure that was developed for shifters has been put into action."

"That's good I'm pleased with everyone, now for the bad."

"The shifters are going to be stuck in the pods for longer then anticipated. As you know usually with the help of alchemy a shifter would be healed up in minutes but there was a sign of paralysis poisoning in the shifters blood stream meaning it will take nearly an entire day to heal them. With out the shifters help it will also take longer for the devices on floor two to be installed."
