When you do not want to survive anymore.
When you feel bruised, battered and sore.
When life feels too impossible to go on.
When you begin to think you can't make it 'til dawn
When you have no power left in yourself.
It is time to look outside of oneself.
We have nothing left, our situation is dour.
The strength beyond normal God will empower.
God has the power and the ability,
To give us the love we need and the stability.
Just like Jesus when he said "I want to"
God cares for us and wants us to feel his love is true.
He wants us to know there will be a day,
When he will take all of our pain away.
He wants to help us to forget,
All the things that make us fret.
He wants to help soothe our mind,
With His loving spirit our wounds he will bind.
Looking to him will help us hold up.
Using his power we can get back up.
Keep focused on him to be your guide.
Then he will always be at your side.
Your problems may not be gone.
But God will get you through 'til the dawn.
