My Little Bugaboo

Chapter 3

Marinette stood in front her home and waited for Luka to come pick her up. Little did she know, her friendly neighborhood Cat Noir was on top a building keeping an eye on her. Luka pulled up on his bike and looked at her. "Ready to go?" He asked and smiled.

Marinette smiled and nodded. Luka gave her a helmet and she climbed on. Marinette put the helmet on and held onto Luka as they made their way to the park. Cat Noir followed them keeping an eye on Marinette. "Why is she even with him again.." He growled but froze. 

"Why am I acting like this? She's just a friend.." He said to himself. He sat on a building and watched them sit down and talk. He looked seeing the smile on Marinette's  face and smiled a little himself. Seeing her happy always made him smile. He watched as Luka got up to go to the bathroom. 

Marinette sat there. She looked at her phone and saw Cat Noir in the reflection. She turned around and looked seeing him. Cat Noir hopped down after realizing he was caught. "Hello purrinceses." He smiled and sat next to her. Marinette looked at him and raised a brow. 

"So do you just happen to be here or are you following me around like a stray cat?" Marinette giggled a little and Cat Noir smiled. "Ouch, you hurt me with your nicknames. Am I not allowed to stop and check on my favorite princess while I patrol?" He asked while he spun the staff in his hand. Marinette looked at the staff in his hand. She knew he doesn't patrol at this time. She couldn't say that. 

Marinette smiled and looked at him. "I guess so. Why did you want to though?" He asked and looked at him.  Cat Noir shrugged and looked at her. "Cause I haven't visited you in a while and I miss you." He chuckled and Marinette scratched under his chin. "How sweet of you." She smiled. 

Cat Noir leaned into her hand and his face turned red as he started to purr. He quickly got up. "We'll I'm glad your doing ok but I should really get going now! Have a nice after noon!" He said quickly and used his staff to hop home.

Marinette sat there as he darted off. She giggled and rolled her eyes not hearing the purr coming from him. "Cat Noir you goofball." She sighed and turned her head as Luka came back. 

Adrien looked at Plagg.  "What was that?!" He said embarrassed. Plagg laughed and sat on the bed. "Some things got passed down to you when you use my powers. Since you've been Cat Noir for a while so now you can purr in and out of costume. Be careful on how comfortable you get." Plagg smiled and looked at him. 

Adrien stood there looking at him. He groaned and fell onto the couch as he covered his face. He looked at the roof. "I'm taking away your cheese." He sighed. "Hey that's not fair! I didn't do this on purpose!" He huffed. Adrien got up and looked at the time. "I'm gonna take a shower." He said as he grabbed some clothes and walked to the bathroom. 

Marinette walked with Luka and smiled. "It was fun. I'm glad we got to do this Luka." She said softly and looked at him. Luka nodded as he walked and looked at his bike. "Yea, I figured a busy girl like you would need a little air so it seemed like the best idea." Luka smiled and held her hand. 

Marinette blushed and smiled a bit. She moved her hair out her face and stopped in front the bakery. "Sooo...I'll see you next Friday?" She asked quietly and Luka nodded. "I'll pick you up and we'll sit in my room and I'll play the guitar for you ma'am." He smiled and bowed. "You dork get up." She laughed a little. Luka chuckled and hugged her. "I'll see you around cutie." He said as he got on his bike and went home. 

Marinette walked inside and looked at her mom who was standing there with a big smile. "Hi?" Marinette said quietly. "How did it go?" Sabine smiled and Marinette walked to the stairs. "It was nice." She said quietly and walked upstairs. She blushed a bit and smiled as she made her way to her room. 

Once she was in her room Tikki flew out the purse and smiled. "You seem really happy." Tikki smiled and Marinette looked at her. "Well..yea. Luka and I are doing better now after our break. At least I hope we are." She smiled a little and sat at her desk. "I hope this fixes some of the problems between us and things will be better this time." She said as she opened her phone and looked at the texts from Alya. 

"What about Adrien?" Tikki asked as she sat on the desk and looked up at her owner. Marinette frowned a bit and pet Tikki. "Adrien only sees me as a friend Tikki. I wanna get over the fact that I cant keep chasing a guy that is never gonna feel the same way. I gotta move on." She said quietly. Tikki nodded and hugged her finger. 

"I'm proud of you Marinette." She smiled and Marinette giggled. "Thank you Tikki. That means a lot coming from you." She said quietly and texted Alya back. "I'm gonna sit on the balcony for a bit and try and get some designs in. I wanna make a dress for the dance coming up so I need to make sure that its perfect." She said as she grabbed a pencil and her Sketchbook. 

Tikki nodded and watched as Marinette climbed up. Marinette sat down and looked at the sky before she started off with a sketch of what the dress would look like.

Mean while Adrien was sitting at his desk looking at his computer. He was looking through photo's of him and his friends. He looked at Marinette and smiled a little, a light blush dusting his cheeks. "I'm telling you kid. Your in love with her. Why are you denying it so much." Plagg rolled his eyes. "Cause I'm in love with Ladybug..I can't like both of them Plagg!" Adrien said and looked back at the photo's. 

"You really are and idiot.." Plagg said as he ate his Camembert
