My Little Bugaboo

Chapter 8

3 weeks later

Adrien groaned as he flopped on his bed. "Man you really suck at this.." Plagg laughed and Adrien glared at him. "Oh shut up you floating stomach. Help me out! I probably have so much time to prepare a way to ask her out! But What if it doesnt work! UGH WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME!?" Adrien said and got up. Plagg rolled his eyes and flew over to his miraculous holder. "Look, you just need to figure this out another time. Right now.....as much as I hate it. You have patrol with the bug and you should really get going." Plagg spoke and Adrien looked at the time. 

"Shoot, your right. Plagg, claws out!" Adrien said and left to meet with Ladybug. He saw her leaning on the railing of a building and landed behind her. He stepped closer and leaned on the railing next to her. "Sorry I'm late bugaboo. Got busy with so-...buggie?" Cat Noir frowned when he heard the sniffle and stood up straight.

Ladybug looked at him then looked down. "Kitty..do you ever feel like your not good enough for that one person..or wonder why they just left you without a proper explanation.." She mumbled as tears ran down her face. Cat Noir frowned as his ears went down. "oh...LB what happened.." Cat Noir asked and held his arms out for a comforting hug. Ladybug hesitated a bit and looked at her arms. She shut her eyes tightly and quickly hugged him. 

"There's so much we have to do..protect Paris, our identities, the people we love." She cried and Cat Noir sat on the ground holding her. "Even if we pull off 2 of the 3 there's always gonna be one that we can't stop from happening." Ladybug added. Cat Noir looked at her confused. "What do you mean?" He asked quietly looked at her he wiped her tears. Ladybug looked up at him. "He left me..and all I could do was pretend I was ok because last time this happened he got akumatized and it was all my fault! If i made one wrong step it could have been so much worse! I have to be here for Paris and I can't be there for myself! I can't be there for you as much as I wan't to be!" She said as she covered her face. 

Cat Noir frowned and held her tightly, knowing at the moment that all he could do for her. He knew what she meant. Her being Ladybug didn't help though. She couldn't allow herself to get akumatized or that would be bad for everyone. Being guardian as well, that had to put so much pressure over her. He was surprised it took her this long to break. 

Ladybug leaned into his chest and Cat Noir blushed. Oh come on not again! Why can't my brain just pick one. Cat Noir wanted to curse himself out for started to feel romantic feelings for ladybug! He can't have them both! He looked down at her and rubbed her arm. Do you wanna skip out on patrol and go sit somewhere to breath?" He asked quietly. Ladybug nodded and Cat Noir got up, helping her up and leading the way to a quiet spot they could relax in. 

Ladybug sat down and sighed. She looked at the ground and pulled her knees up to her chest. Cat Noir looked at her. "Who ever broke up with you, he's a fool for letting someone as amazing and special as you go."  He smiled. Ladybug bushed an smiled a bit. She leaned on him and closed her eyes. "Thank you kitty." She whispered and Cat Noir smiled and laid his head on hers as he looked at the moon light water. 

They sat there for who knows how long, just talking and making each other smile. From how it went they probably know more about each other then they did before. Which is a bit risky, but they didn't think about that logic. Cat Noir looked at Ladybug and smiled a bit as he got up. "It's been nice my dear." He said as he took a bow. "But I've got a lot to do tomorrow and I'm sure the guardian does as well. Till next time?" He smiled and held a hand out. Ladybug looked up at him, she took his hand and he helped her up.

"Till next time Chaton." She replied and giggled. Cat Noir smiled and soon made his way home. Ladybug on the other hand stood there taking a breather before leaving to get to bed.
