Life of the New Avenger (Loki love story)

Part 3

Back at Stark Tower after cleaning up the mess of the fight and puttying away Red Skull in the S.H.I.E.L.D prison, Tony informed Natasha and Clint about the events that had unfolded while they were gone. Both listened intently to Tony's story, asking the same questions everyone else was asking, where, from whom, and why? As Tony explained what happened Pepper Pots, Tony's girlfriend, took the liberty of going out and buying supplies for their new member. The next day after everything was settled and Dana's pink and white nursery was set up in a room across from the Hulks, Thor had taken Dana up to Asgard to present her to his father Odin, and request that she be granted a citizenship of Asgard. Thor and the rest of the Avengers agreed that this would be best, for Dana could be raised as both human and asgardian thus allowing her to have the best of both halves and giving her the ability to come and go form Asgard as she pleases and learn their ways.  Thor carried Dana in a small wicker basket swaddled in his red cape to keep her warm as he approached the throne room. Opening the gigantic golden doors, Thor stepped inside a gold throne room to see his father and Mother sitting on their thrones in the fare end of the room. Loki stood with his arms crossed in irritation, leaning up ageist a throne room pillar just off to the side. His face showed no emotion but Thor could tell that Loki didn't like being bothered for this family meeting. Loki and Thor's parents had gathered in the throne room after hearing from Heimdall about Thor's discovery on earth and how Thor wished to have an audience with his family. Placing the basket on the floor, Thor walked up to Odin to introduce the situation and his request before presenting the child.

                "Thor, what is the meaning of this, have thou lost his mind in bringing a strange unknown creature to the all father."

                Odin leaned forward in his throne eager to hear what Thor had to say for himself. His golden armor sparkled gloriously and as bright as the sun making it hard to look directly at him. As Odin waited for his son to reply, his fist clenched so tightly his knuckles turned white and his one good eye seemed to be looking at Thor's very Soul.

                "Well what is it, out with it boy."

                "Father this child we call Dana is not evil and I will vouch for her. She is full of kindness and makes all who come near feel such joy and happiness. This small child has even calmed the storm in Hulk's heart for he has become a father to the child and even I so wish to become a teacher to the child. I wish to be Dana's God father and raiser her as best as you have raised me and thus I ask for Dana to become a citizen of Asgard."

                "YOU WHAT, how can you feel so strongly for a creature you just encountered. This creature could be a threat to all of us and lead to our destruction. This creature holds unknown strength, how do you know it wouldn't use it ageist us, how do you expect us to trust such a creature even Heimdall could not see coming until it was already on earth?"

                "But Father tis a child not a monster and if the child is raised true by the Avengers and not in the hands of evil she will be a strong ally and I believe she will not harm us."  

                "Ahum, if I may cut in father, many people in all the nine realms even in Asgard adopt children they know nothing about without the expectancy that they will cause great harm. Also I wish to add that Heimdall's sight is not all its cracked up to be, I in fact know a few tricks around his sight."

                "Silence Loki this does not concern you."

Loki looked away from his father frowning at the fact of how blind and stubborn he could be and how he never listens. Loki watched as his mother tried to calm Odin down but in vain and he watched how Thor fought to convince his father of the child's innocence. No one ever cared to hear what the god of mischief had to say about the matter. Loki shock is black raven hair in frustration as his family started to fight over what to do about Dana, his green scaled armor shimmering in each little movement he made.
