"Hee!"

"Which one?" Both Heeyoung and Hitomi called in unison, pausing the video game they were playing.

"Both!"

Heeyoung and Hitomi came thundering down the stairs, the younger girl dragging the older while making elephant noises.

"Coming through!" Heeyoung screeched, her raccoon socks skidding smoothly on the floor as she rounded a corner. Hitomi produced a sort of distorted squeal as she nearly slammed face-first into the door of an open cabinet.

"Yes?" Heeyoung's little body zoomed into the room Chaeyeon was in. Seconds after those words left her mouth, Hitomi, unable to stop herself, crashed into the smaller girl. They both landed on the carpeted floor, the taller girl squashing the smaller one.

"Are you alright, Hee?"

"I'm fine, Hii, are you?"

Chaeyeon chuckled as she watched their interaction. Out of the many nicknames Heeyoung now had, whenever she was with Hitomi, the older would call her Hee and she would call the latter Hii. It was rather amusing, really.

"You called us, Chae?"

"Yes. You two already decorated the cake right?"

"Yep! I hope Eun likes it."  Heeyoung grinned.

"She'll like it since you made it for her. She's not picky anyway." Chaeyeon replied, ruffling the little girl's hair.

"So, what do we have left?" Hitomi squinted at the neat handwriting on the paper Chaeyeon was holding.

"Yujin, Yuri and Hyewon are buying the decorations right now, I've ordered food delivery for tomorrow, the necklace is safe with Wonyo and Eunbi doesn't know anything." She checked off a little box on the paper.

"That's good. If Eunbi rejects Kwangbae I'm going to be so mad." Heeyoung grumbled, placing her hands on her hips and huffing.

"She won't reject Kwangbae, she's literally head-over-heels. It's so obvious, she always gives Hyewon the biggest pieces of bacon at breakfast, and there was one time we were all sharing a pack of Jolly Ranchers and Eunbi picked out all the blue ones for Hyewon." Hitomi pouted at the memory. "Eunbi always had favourites from the start."

Chaeyeon laughed and patted the two younger's heads.

The doorbell rang. All three of them jumped up and ran to the door, Heeyoung's small body zooming ahead like a little bullet. The door opened just as the little girl launched herself towards it. Yujin, caught by surprise and holding three bags, had no time to catch the girl, but the youngest clung onto Yujin's body, arms wrapped tightly around the girl.

Yujin laughed and walked toward the table to set down the bags.

"I missed you!" Heeyoung exclaimed, cheeks puffing out.

"Did you miss me too?" The top of Yuri's head peeked out from over Yujin's shoulder. The girl tiptoed slightly—Yujin was too tall.

"Yes! I missed all of you!" She giggled cheerfully.

Heeyoung had grown close to all the girls in the past few weeks. It was impossible for her not to, since she lived in the same house and spent a lot of her time with the girls. She was obviously closer to some of the girls than the rest, though she liked them all equally.

Of course, Yujin was her favourite big sister. She took care of the little girl and played with her, and they had naturally formed a close bond since Yujin had been the first to talk to her, and had been the one to make her feel as comfortable as possible in her new home.
