"What on Earth are YOU doing here?" My father waddled in, biscuit crumbs scattered down his front.

I looked at the floor, then back at him, "I got suspended,"

He shook his head, "This won't do. For how long?" He barked.

"Two days?"

"Well, that's no good because-" He stopped and suddenly he had a horrorfied look on his face.

Soon, my mother emerged, her thin body trying to step around my fathers plumper one. "What's all this ruckus?" She stopped when she saw me, "What are YOU doing here? And WHO is that?"

"Who is who-?" I turned around to see Malfoy looking at me confused, holding my trunk in his hand.

"Uh- you left.. your trunk outside?"

"Oh brilliant," My mother snapped, "She's back, and shes brought a boyfriend."

"We aren't together-"

"Draco," I said, quickly with a hint of annoyance in my voice, "Just- um. Just go upstairs. It's the room at the very end of the hallway."

He stood looking at me strangely.

"WELL?" I said, at him.

"Gheez okay," He sighed and carried my trunk up the stairs.

My parents glared at me with anger, trying to hide their annoyance from out unexpected guest.
"Is he like you?" My father snarled, "Hm?"

I shook my head no, "He's a mu- a human."
That's what my parents called muggles. Humans.
To my parents, I wasn't human. I was a freak.

"Where are you going?" My father frowned at me as I walked into the kitchen.

"Im making toast. Is that okay? Or do I need permission to eat?"

"Tell me again why you're back?"

"I got suspended."

"Haha." My mother laughed, "You didn't you do your little magic tricks good enough?"

"I poisoned someone, and set the classroom on fire." I said with a little bit exaggeration.

Her laugh stopped abruptly.

"See you later," I went upstairs and saw the door to my bedroom was opened slightly. Draco was sitting in my bed awkwardly. "Here." I gave him piece of toast.

"Thanks," He said, looking the other way, "So.. you're parents are kinda mean,"

"Um- yeah."

"For a moment there I thought you had some massive secret or something,"

"Nope." I said quickly, "Not at all,"

We sat silently for a few minutes.
Honestly, I wasn't sure what was worse, sitting here awkwardly with Malfoy, or going downstairs to argue with my parents.

"Right. Well uh- I'll be back." I looked at the plate in front of me and picked it up.

"Where are you taking that?" He said.

"Dishwasher,"

"How many do you have?"

"Huh.. one?"
