Millie showed me around the school and showed me where my classes are. Not only is Millie my peer guide because she's nice and smart, but it's also because we have almost the same schedule. The classes we don't have together are extremely close to each other that we would run into each other after class.

I like Millie, she's super nice and funny. She's one of those people everyone got along with probably, you know friends with everybody. Even the new kid she's being forced to show around and stick with.

"Hey are you okay?" She asks as she shows me to the courtyard.
I snap out of my thought as and turn towards her, "y-yeah, I just... it's alright if you don't 'stick' with me after today. I know Mrs. Butäh really didn't give you choice in that situation, so if you don't want to I totally get it." She looked at me if I said there were now flying pigs.
"Are you kidding me?" She asks.

Not really, no.

"Your a totally chill and sweet person, why wouldn't I want to be by your side?" She says and gives me a little shoulder nudge.

I can think of many reasons.

"I don't know, I-" i stop and sigh.
"I know we just met, but I just want you to know that you can tell me anything, I'm not going to go anywhere, if you're cool with it."
I face her and smile, "yeah I'm cool with it, thanks but I'm just not ready to talk about it."

"And that's totally fine." She smiles back. "Well this is the courtyard, we're allowed to come out here and have lunch whenever it's open. Me and my friends are having lunch out here today actually, you should come. I'm sure they'll love you."
"Yeah, okay thanks."

"Well it's almost time for our next class, shall we head up?" She asks as we head back into the building.
"We shall." I say, mimicking her posh British accent, causing us to laugh the same time the bell dismisses students from their first class of the day.
