No Problem Big Problem

Dinner that night was a little awkward. August decided to sit next to the group. Walter looked at the two boys. He was worried how mad Alexander looked. The tension was high.

"Alex how's it going with Walter."

August smiled. This time he was genuinely sorry for what happened with Alexander. He had nothing to do with anything really.

"Um what uh?"

"I asked how's it going with Walter."

"Fine."

"That's good. I hope he makes you happy."

"He does."

"Good."

Alexander was very sharp with his answers. He wanted this conversation to be over. He couldn't stand August. He wasn't really mad about what he did to him. His parents knew it wasn't really his fault. But what he did to Simon and Wilhelm.

"Do your parents know you to are dating?"

Wilhelm was finishing hid pancakes. His favorite food in the world. He loved them especially when Simon or Linda made them. Then they were made with love.

"Dude August is right here. Remember he told your parents. Well he told the whole world but."

"He's fine."

"I'm trusting you."

Walter was holding Alexander's hand. He looked at his boyfriend who was worried to be around August. He could ruin his life like he did to Wilhelm so quickly.

"My parents know but Alexander's, Alexander's aren't as excepting."

"Be careful then everyone's parents are invited this weekend."

"We know."

Breakfast was over quickly and they all went to classes that afternoon though Wilhelm and Simon caught up with Sara.

"What do you plan on wearing to the palace this weekend."

"I've been to the palace before Simon."

"But not like this."

"You really haven't been to the palace like this either."

Wilhelm laughed. Simon tried to look cool but ended up looking stupid. Simon made a similar face every time that someone called him out.

"So August is still coming?"

"Yes. It's been decided."

Wilhelm pretend to gag when he said it's been decided. But something felt different he wasn't super upset that August was coming. They didn't have a conversation with him. It seemed like August was trying to change. But his friends still hated him so he pretended to hate him too.

"Wilhelm did you here us?"

"No, sorry what? Can you repeat it?"

"We were worried about Walter and Alex."

"What happens if their parents find out."

He realized Wilhelm's mother also didn't know Alexander and Walter were dating. Either did Linda.

"Let's call our parents."

They called Linda first she laughed that her kids were worried she'd freak out. She didn't freak out when Simon came out. She didn't freak out when the sex tape leaked. She just cared about her son and his feelings. It was an easy phone call but next they called Wilhelm's Mom.

"Mom?"

"Yes Wilhelm? Is everything okay."

"About the weekend."

"You can't cancel Wilhelm."

"No it's just it's well."

"Spit it out."

"Walter and Alex are dating."

They three kids heard silence for awhile. Then they heard something that sounded like laughter. His mother was laughing.

"Is everyone gay at this school?"

"Mom stop!"

"I don't understand why you felt the need to tell me this."

"Well Alexander's parents would freak out if they found out so you can't say anything."

"Well then of course I won't say anything."

"Thank you."

"No Problem."
